Tagged by Jenny...

Got this question from Jenny...

How many cemeteries do you visit? Which cemeteries do you visit? And what do you usually bring?

I don't normally go to my lola and lolos anymore in Pasig Catholic Cemetery especially now that we have kids. We just go to my father-in-law's at Manila Memorial in Sucat. We always bring flowers and candles and some chips to nibble while there. They visit is not complete without ordering pizza from Shakey's! Daming food carts dun eh...hehehe.

Trick or Treat in Bayantel...

I have to snag these photos from Jacqui from the trick or treat in Bayantel... Thanks Jacq!

As I said in my previous post, Margaux won the "best in costume" this year...
Thanks to my sponsor, Ninang Mimi of Bumblebee and Company.
We had fun...

Bad Credit...

Some people actually suffer with bad credit and they have problems getting back their credibility financially. They actually regret the financial decisions they made in the past. And they scrumble this time on how to recover from it. They ended up getting confused on a dozen of bad credit offers from different providers. It shouldn't be the case if you know Badcreditoffers.com. The site offers valuable information on the best bad credit loans available in the market. In their site you can actually fit your requirements and standard to what offer is appropriate for you. They provide customers with information and resources suited to one's need, no matter how bad the credit history is. Whether it is about credit card, home loan, auto loan or personal loan, wide available offers are within reach. Check out the site and it could be beneficial to you.

Yipee!

Margaux won as the "Best in Costume" in the trick or treat in Dicky's office in Bayantel this afternoon. But my little girl was not so much in the mood to smile during the entire event. The program was fun with a guest magician and some kiddie games. She just enjoyed later on while playing with Sam of Jacqui after the program na. Too bad, my camera was not working properly again...grrr talaga! bad timing...

Will just borrow pics from Jacqui's camera...

Travelling to Canada...

My cousin Jenny called me the other day and said that their plans to get married here in Manila next year might not push through. Of course, I'm supposed to be their wedding coordinator. I was a bit sad that they decided not to have a Manila wedding, instead, they are looking to just get married in Canada. But then she is inviting our whole family to have our Holidays in Canada in time for their wedding there. So I immediately checked the internet for cheap flights available. I have learned about DialAFlight website where they have interesting holiday offers including flight to Toronto. It is the leading independent UK travel company that offers flights, hotels and all holiday vacations worldwide. The site is a good source for us if we are seriously considering to travel already to Canada. They also offer competitive rates for flight to Montreal and even flight to Vancouver. It could now be a choice between going to US or to Canada next year. Let's see.

Goodbye...Hello...

Ok, I can finally rest my case...

Goodbye Mini Lin...(please pardon the color of the pics...don't know what happened to my camera...kainis!) Anyway...

Hello Damier...

And the quest is finally over. I'm just so happy.

PTC...

It was our first Parent-Teacher Conference this morning since Margaux just started school last September. We were anxious on what Teacher Cecilia would tell us about our little girl. We were eventually happy about the result of her "report card!"

Excerpt from her "typical day report." Mind you, just excerpt ha...haba ng report! How "tyaga" her teacher!

Margaux always comes to school with her MommyJody. Often, she comes with a big
smile on her face and readily greets everyone with "hi" or "hello."

At the playground, she uses different equipment. She usually begins with riding a
bike. She asks for help from her teachers to push her around the area while she
tries to pedal. After riding the bike, she runs towards the slide and swing set.
She climbs the ladder, one step at a time, with teacher right behind her. When
she reaches the top, she can walk on her own towards the slide. Once seated, she
waits for the teacher to help her slide down by holding her left hand. It is often that she uses the slide a couple of times before she tries something else. Another activity that she engages in outdoors is running around the rooftop. This is something that she does with friends or teachers. She never tires from and only stops when it is time to go back to the classroom or another activity catches her interest such as shooting the ball into the hoop or playing at the house area.

At circle time, as soon as Margaux finds her name with her
family pictures on the wall, she leans on it and waits for the others to find
their names. Sometimes, she tells the teacher, "Margaux ready!" When the class
sings the "Hello Song," Margaux would often sing the class' goodbye song while
smiling, as if teasing her teacher. She sings songs and joins in finger play
activities. She also participates in activities such as filling the attendance chart with her name card, feelings chart, etc. When it is time for storytelling, Margaux comes closer towards the teacher to see the pictures better. When she sees a familiar illustration, she labels it or comments about it such as giving its color or size. When the teacher asks questions about the book or their theme in general, Margaux does not hesitate to answer.

When the teacher answers and gives the cues for prayer, Margaux gets
ready by clasping her hands together and closing her eyes; then she sings along
with full of emotion. When the prayer ends, she sits still while listening to
the clues the teacher gives as to who will wash their hands first. She always
wants to be the last, wanting to see everyone go first. If the teacher calls her
first, she refuses, shaking her head while saying, "No! Enzo first."

During Snack Time, Margaux can eat independently - using her bare hands
as well as her utensils. Lately, she lifts her juice or snack and says "same,"
whether she finds someone else who has something similar to eat or drink. When
she needs help in opening her food containers or wrappers, she say" Open
please." She can pack away by herself with minimal help from her teachers. She
can also place her placemant on top of the nearby shelf and return her lunchbox
into her cubby hole.

During Free Choice, Margaux explores the different
learning areas but often begins at the Art Area where she usually settles with
the activities prepared on the table. It is often that she would ask the teacher
to stay beside her or at least look at what she has done by calling the teacher
and saying"Come!" in addition to her hand gestures. She is very patient in
explaining what she has done. When she is done with her activity, she rarely
leaves the materials that she has used on the table. Rather, she returns them on
the shelves.

In the Dramatic Play Area, her interest is more on playing grocery toys and its items. She pretends to either be the seller or the buyer.

At the Manipulative Area, she chooses activities that involve the use of her fine motor such as filling bottles with small beads.

Finally, at the Book Area, her favorite is "How are you peeling?" She could get it on her own and she sits on the blue chair, reading through the different emotions she
observed on her own. And once she has decided to play with the cards, she would
get a chair, place it in front of the book shelf and she would start her "lesson
for the day" just like her teacher. When her peers are around, they would sit on
their names and listen to her.

When it is time for goodbye, Margaux sits through the last routine which includes singing a song or two, reading a book or reviewing the day's activities and looking at the chart which consists of the letter of the week. When she is called early, she would always say "No!" and volunteer another peer to go first. While the others are getting their letters, she is always beside the classmate, watching as the teacher draws
on the hand. When she is the only one left, she agrees and despite having
several choices, always picks the orange marker. She is able to give the label
of the first letter of her name and is now able to choose from the chart the
drawing she would like, pertaining to the letter of the week. When she sees her
mommy, she shows her hand and get ready to go home.

I'm a proud momma! I just want to share...

Why travel to France?

France is one of my dream destinations. Why travel to France? There's an ultimate 101 reasons why a France travel and you can find out all about it in a travelogue about the said country. There's a variety of pleasant France accommodations as well in the site. I would love to try to stay in a castle when I go to France. This is one of the good things about this country. A traveler can have a myriad of choices for accommodation like bed and breakfast, a farm, a gite or as what I have said, even a castle. Staying in these places can truly be a worthwhile vacation experience.

Losing Weight and Getting healthy...

I'm desperate to lose weight. I have gained few pounds again since I stopped going to the gym. I feel so dissapointed about it. I also have not been watching my diet. I guess I need to make my own food dairy so that I can monitor all my food intake. A friend of mine recommended MyFitnessPal. It's heaven-sent for me cause the site has a calorie counter, absolutely 100% free. No credit card required. I immediately signed up and the rewards are endless. They provide free diet journal that can help me lose weight and get healthy by tracking all the calories from each meal I take. The site offers a lot of dieting tips, recipes and even fitness advises. It has Body Mass Index (BMI) and Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) calculators as initial tools I can use to determine how much weight I need to lose. I can browse from their food database a particular item and I can easily see the nutritional facts of it. It also matches all the calories burned from any exercise I'm going to take. I have been encouraging Dicky to sign up as well. This site is such a good support for both of us. It could be of great help to you as well.

Meet my Little Dumbo...

Margaux joined the "trick or treat" in her school (Child's Space) yesterday. Of course, the mommy was super proud. She wore her costume, yipee! I thought she might get irritated with the headpiece but she was so cooperative. Everyone says she's a cutie. I took a lot of pictures and video the entire event.

Here are some of it...

Walking going to school

Happy to see her classmates

"Mommy, start na?"

"This is my trunk."

"Look at my tail!"
Scrambling for more candies..

Isn't she the smallest in class? But the cutest of course! Hehehe, love your own! (These are kids from two classes: The preschoolers and the toddlers where Margaux belongs.)

Costume made by Bumblebee and Company. Thanks Ninang Mimi.

I'm excited for another trick or treat in Dicky's office on the 30th. Sulit ang costume!

On Home Equity Loans...

I guess loan is inevitable in one's life. There would be instances that we need to take up a loan for purchase of car, buying house or even just for purchase of something very important. It is not bad at all as long as you are responsible for acquiring that loan. Let's take for example Home Equity Loans, being offered by Magic Loans. The site defines clearly what type of loan it is. It is actually the value of your home that you can use as equity for a loan to raise substantial amount of money without moving from your current property. The site is actually very comprehensible. It also has a loan calculator that identifies your amortization once you key in your loanable amount and number of years of payment that you prefer. When in doubt whether you are ready to take up any kind of loan, you can use their budget calculator that help you identify how much money with you at the end of each month. It is also a good way to understand your overall financial condition. This information can help you decide if you are eligible to apply for a loan. Actually, the site is very helpful for us and Dicky as we are really contemplating now to have our own home. We are thinking to either purchase first the lot in cash wait for few months before we have the construction of our dream house or do we proceed now with a loan for house and lot and use the lot as an equity. We are still in crossroads for this.

Buying a house...

About a month ago, we have seen a house and lot for sale near my brother's house. We really wanted to buy it already and so we pursued talking to the owner. We also did some of our research by going to the banks and asking about interest rates for mortgages. We also checked the internet for information re mortgages. Apparently, after pursuing it further, the owner decided not to sell it anymore. We were dissapointed about it. But I came across a very good site that offers a lot of infomation especially to first time buyers like us. I have learned that Mortgages UK have a very wide market and one should fully understand it first before taking the plunge. Money Magic Mortgages is a very useful site discussing like interest rates and options regarding it, whether fixed or variable. It also details information not only for personal mortgages but as well as commercial property mortgages. The company offers a free quote with no obligation based on the customer information which can be supplied online. After an independent financial advisor confirms all your details, you can decide then on the mortgage you will take. I have truly learned a lot about mortgages with this site.

Dinner Date...

Dicky said to me this morning...

As of this writing, I am waiting for him here in Eastwood...so might as well blog about it!

Just an anecdote...

So I am testing Margaux with her alphabet using the chart in our room...

Me: A is for ...?
Margaux : Apple
Me: Good, B is for...?
Margaux: Balloon
Me: Very good Margaux, C is for...?
Margaux: Meow, Meow...Hahaha! Joke mommy...(and she's really just kidding me...!)
Me: (I just laughed and laughed!)

She's very witty...may humor din, mana sa ama!

Some Prizes...

I had to sort and organize all the prizes/toys which I bought for the past 6 months in preparation for Bianca's birthday party on November 3. I didn't realize that I have accumulated a lot. Since birthday party theme is Disneyland, I bought all Disney items (Mickey and Minnie, Disney Princesses, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Cars and Toy Story). I even bought watches, merchandising items like mirrors, caps, towels, organizers, lunchboxes, plus of course, many many toys.

Here's what's in store for the redemption booth when you play basketball, hoop the loop, knock-out and dart the balloons game booths...I still have to make the point-system...hay, tedious job, but what the heck...I want it to do it this way.

I'm still organizng the prizes for the games with Wizzo...

Mommy is getting super excited now...

On Theme Parks...

I'm a sucker for travel. Next year, I want to plan ahead the vacations we would like to take as a family. We want to bring the kids to some theme parks cause I am sure they would enjoy it a lot as much as Margaux enjoyed in Disneyland in Anaheim last year. I came across the different theme parks, not only here in Asia but to other countries as well. I learned about one of the oldest Amusement Parks in Blackpool, UK, which is Blackpool Pleasure Beach Theme Park. I got excited to learn that they do have more than 125 rides and attractions inside.

They have a new ride this year called Infusion, which is a suspended looping coaster. I got goosebumps when I read the descriptions online. What a thrill! Look at the picture below. I want to try it myself.

Their site offers a lot of information like available accommodation, facilities and directions. It also provides great deals for online ticket buyers. It is indeed a great help in planning for a great vacation for the whole family. We hope we can try this in our lifetime.

I'm an addict...

I am a coffee-addict.

Can't start a day without it. I need 2-3 cups a day...

My day practically doesn't end without it.

Like right now, I need something to perk me up!

There's a lot of opps available!

Big Blue Hotel

Looking for accommodation with some Hotels Blackpool? You should consider Big Blue Classic Hotel. It is just five minutes away from the Blackpool airport and located at the south entrance of Pleasure Beach. The hotel has a wide range of room types suited to every guest's needs. They also have leisure and gym facilities and the stunning Pleasure Beach is just few steps away. Most of the rooms as well do have a breathtaking view of the theme park so those staying with kids would really enjoy the accommodation being offered here. They do give out unlimited ride wristband to all their guests so you will enjoy the 145 rides and attractions from the Pleasure Beach Theme Park. The hotel's website offers a virtual tour of their reception, the blue bar and their restaurant, fitness and leisure lounge, and even the different types of rooms that they have. It's definitely a good way to help the guest decide on what room to book with them. I particularly like the Club Executive Family Room, which could be perfect for me and Dicky and the kids cause it has bunk beds available. I wish we could really go here sometime.

About online casinos...

When we went to Las Vegas last year, I did enjoy our time there very much. Aside from the very beautiful hotels, of course I enjoyed playing the slot machines in the casinos. A few months back, we were invited also for a casino night by a wedding magazine as a treat to the wedding suppliers. It was just plain fun, no serious betting. But I also enjoyed playing poker and baccarat. I learned my ways and understood the rules of the games. Once in a while, I was telling Dicky, if we can go to the casino for some quick fun. But I am just afraid I might get hook with it for an addiction. That is actually bad. Then I searched the internet for possible online casinos. I was suprised to learn that there's a lot out there and that you can play the games in the casino at the comforts of your home. But which one to choose? There is one site that has been reviewing online casinos since 1997. PRO360 offers a detailed review of almost 3000 online casinos. The site is a big help especially for those who are starting their way to such interest. They do the reviews based on factors like maximum bonus, players ratings and editors ratings. They offer informations like beginners guide to online casino. It even has information of which are the casinos that offer best bonuses and payouts. Browsing through the site, it made me realize that it is good to check out first www.pro360.com, especially for those who are considering to gamble online cause their information available online is very valuable.

New Zealand Properties

My very good friend M, together with her two daughters are leaving on November 20 to join her husband in New Zealand. I feel sad a bit cause another friend is migrating to another country but I am also happy for them because I'm sure that they are only thinking of the future of their kids. I'm also glad that they are finally reuniting with her husband after being away from each other for about 5 months. While she's busy packing their stuff from here, her husband on the other hand is also busy preparing their new home in Auckland. He is looking for a New Zealand Property to buy near his office and would have a nearby school to send the kids as well. I came across this Property New Zealand site that has wide list of all available real estate properties, second homes, investment lands and off plan property for sale in the said country. I phoned my friend a while ago to inform her about this site that could help her husband find the suited home for their family. She said she would inform her husband about it. The site even identifies the nearby facilities available in a property being chosen. It also an intesting fact to know that investing in New Zealand is a good option because the profit in selling a property is not subject to capital gains tax. The country is a very attractive market for investment as they don't have land tax, no property purchase tax and no wealth or death duty taxes. Indeed, my friend and her family made the right decision to migrate to New Zealand.

Awards and Tags again...

Got these two awards again...

Thanks to Macy for this... I'm blushing!

Thanks also to Arlene, you made me smile by getting this again...

Online dating...

Can you imagine that finding a perfect partner for life now can even be done online? Well, at first, I was skeptical about the online dating. I have heard about russian dating scams wherein a scammer creates a false personal information about herself. These women can also be part of some online dating agencies, which do not qualify their members. These dating scammers actually ask for money from their dating partners. They make a lot of stories to convince their dates to send them money. It is a sad news that some people use the extensiveness of internet to just take advantage of others. So if you are looking for a dating agency online, make sure to enroll only on a qualified dating network. I came across a site that has beautiful russian brides. The site is a dating network called Chance for Love. I have realized that this site protects all their members from any online scammers. In fact, it doesn't sell women. That's a wrong conotation about the site. Chance for Love offers dating services. They are actually building the bridge for a guy to a unfamiliar girl on the other side of the world. They can actually help a guy to acquiant himself with the girl, correspond, even translate letters and send gifts or flowers. They can also help a guy talk to the girl on the phone, chat or even organize a meeting. The site even provides information on how to spot a scammer and on how to avoid them. They also provide dating industry news that gives their readers and members information on essential details about online dating. One can even search their archive for those frequently asked questions. Learning about this site makes me believe that online dating is really possible and there's a "happily ever after" that can happen somewhere.

Christmas Shopping

It is just 67 days before christmas and its the most joyous season of all. It's a lot of gift-receiving and of course gift-giving. For the past 4 years, I have been making a list of all our families and friends including godsons and goddaughters that we have to buy gifts for. It's always a very long list. I also really make an effort to research on what is the best thing to give to them. I also keep the list every year so to make sure not to repeat any kind of gift to the same person for 4 consecutive years. But the very first people I would have to think of will be my husband and my two daughters.

Dicky has been giving me hints that his current rubber shoes are already worn out. So I'm thinking to give him a new pair from Nike. I'm sure he would love it especially that they have an upcoming basketball tournament in their office by January. As for my two daughters, I have been wanting to get them a kitchen set which they can play together. I have seen something in KB Toys that is a perfect gift for Margaux and Bianca. The kitchen set is complete with accessories like utensils, kitchenwares and even toy foods. I'm sure they will love it.

I am saving up for these gifts cause it might cause me a lot until a friend of mine introduced me to Coupon Chief. I was very happy to learn about this as it could save me a big amount of money. It is a one-stop coupon deal and discount resource online. I can even check coupons by shop or by category making it convenient for online shopper like me. I'm going to source more coupons here so I can have my money's worth.

Bloggerwave...

I never realized that I could really earn while blogging until most of my online friends convinced me to join the bandwagon. I gave it a try just about few weeks ago and I was totally suprised with the earnings I could get. I'm getting excited about it so I searched the net for more sites that I could blog about paid opportunties. I recently signed up with Bloggerwave and I have no regrets at all. It is actually starting to gain popularity already and so they are looking for bloggers who will be interested. Why not you join as well? I assure you that it would be a good opportunity for you to earn extra cash.

Question Tag...

I'm enjoying this question tag. I got another one from Jane.

what are you getting for yourself this Christmas?

I'm not sure yet, maybe another LV bag, hihihi!

Now, for my question...

What are you getting for your kids this christmas? Tell me yours mommies...Toni, Apple and Kitty.

On steel cabinets...

Since Bianca's birthday is coming up already, we are starting to clean up all the mess in the house especially the kids' stuff that includes their clothes and toys. I have realized that we have kept a pile of stuff that I don't even what to throw. There are clothes that are not even worn yet by Margaux and Bianca so as toys that are not even used yet. Of course, we also have to consider the number of gifts that we will again receive in time for Bianca's birthday on the 3rd of November. I asked Dicky if we can already buy new set of cabinets. He said that buying one is another decision to make since there aren't much space in the house to put it. I have searched the net and learned about available steel cabinets. These cabinets are ideal to be placed in the garage. I showed it to Dicky and he said that these can really be a practical one in the unutilized space of our car garage. And since these steel cabinets also come in different forms and sizes, I am also interested to get one for my workspace. You see, my work entails a lot of paperwork so I need to keep track of all the documents of my clients. I'm interested with rolling drawer stainless steel cabinets that is a perfect fit to be placed under my computer table. I think it's really about time to invest on these cabinets, to finally put an order in our mess at home.

Going to the dentist...

Margaux was scheduled to go to the dentist this morning as part of their activity in school. There's a dental office walking distance from their area. But apparently, she doesn't even want to even sit down on the dentist's chair. Although Dra Karen is very accommodating and their office is very condusive to kids, still it didn't work for Margaux.

It is actually Margaux's first visit to a dentist. Yeah, I know I should have brought her before. But I'm really due to bring her to one soon in time for my prophylaxis. I would like to show her first how it is being done and so she can be comfortable during her time.

But a visit to dentist won't always be comfortable, even for me who is an adult already. I hate like opening your mouth for so long while the dentist cleans every dirt you've got! lol....

How did you condition your kids mommies for such a visit?

Long Distance Calls...

After getting the approval of our tourist visa from the US Embassy, we were excited to inform all our friends and family based in the US. It will definitely be another vacation for us by next year. When we got home, we immediately phoned my sister-in-law to bring her the good news. She was very elated when she heard about it. She was as happy as we were exchanging ideas already as to how we will spend our vacation there. But I had to cut short our conversation because of the yielding telephone bill I would be incurring. My sister-in-law said that she would just be the one to call me cause she got an international calling card to use.

She actually called me after 10 minutes and we talked for more than an hour. I was suprised with the quality of our conversation even if she was using a prepaid calling card. We have often talked before but we were always cut off. There were times also that her voice seems to come from a long tunnel. We can't barely understand each other. I asked her what's the phonecard she was using and she said she recently signed up with Pingo. She received almost 5 hours of international calls just by signing up. She never complains as well of any hidden fees or charges from it unlike from other card companies.

My sister in-law is a very satisfied user of these international phones. She said that it even has a Ratewatcher that can compare phonecards and can get the lowest rate offered. She's using the system to help her manage her account by monitoring her usage. It also has the Pingo Phonecard Advantage that can upgrade her long distance service without the hassle of changing carriers.

My sister-in-law is convinced that it is "the last calling card you'll ever need!" I'm convinced so I'm taking a look to sign up now. In fact, they do have a Special PPP Postie Phone Card Deal. It is a special blog discount coupon of $3 off from Pingo's ppp3. Grab yours as well!

I still don't want to rest my case...

My friend and I went to LV store in greenbelt the other day. The sales people there actually know us already. We are almost there every week, lol. Yes, can't get enough of LV bags...i still don't want to rest my case about it.

My friend would also buy an LV bag. She's considering either the mini lin speedy 30 or the lockit gm, while I'm drooling over damier speedy 30. You see, I got the mini lin already but realized it is really not for me. It's so hard to maintain because it is made out of cloth. But I fell in love with it when I bought it but now, it has lost its charm on me. So what am I trying to say here? Yes, I'm buying another one...Yikes!

Is it bad? Please tell me it's not...

Ok, but my friend is willing to purchase my mini lin for a little less of 3K from the Manila rate. I only used it twice pa lang. She's agreeable to that. Do you think I should go for the deal?

Again, I'm presented with choices...
Can I have both? Hay, super wish ko lang...Oh, the fickle-minded "me" can't decide again!

Short of Cash?

We are sometimes short of cash. An unexpected emergency happens that requires us to shell out extra money but then payday is still about 10 days to go. Borrowing money is actually not bad at all as long as you take responsibility for it. A friend of mine introduced me to Payday loans. The site provides invaluable information on how the cash advance works. It also details the right factors to consider in choosing an online payday lender. One who is interested can apply online by filling out an application form. The borrower must meet some minimum requirements to facilitate loan approval. Usually, a lender approves between $100-1500 as loan amount depending on the lending company's calculation. Once approved, the borrower will be adviced normally through email. It will then reflect to the borrower's bank account the following day. The process is actually very fast with the advantage of doing it at the comforts of one's home. It is also very secure. A borrower would also be saved from applying for a loan publicly. So next time you are short of cash, take advantage of the cash advance loan.

And the daddy is leaving again...

So what's in Cagayan de Oro?

Well, they are just going to play golf there. Can you imagine that? They will fly their sales team together with their clients to CDO just to hit the golf balls? Hmmm, generous ah! They will be staying at Pueblo de Oro. They said the fairways here is very popular and a dream course for every Filipino golfer.

How I wish I can come. I haven't been there. But no, we will be left behind again as I have an event this weekend.

Dicky owes me a lot of trip already! lol

Anyway, what could be great "pasalubong" from this province?

Planning a trip to Europe...

My mother in law went on a Europe trip with her bestfriend about a year ago. She said that Dicky and I should really look into planning a European tour also before we even reach 40. She said that the continent has a distinct charm that can make you fall in love to the different cities within it.

I would love to go to Europe. It is in one of my dream vacations before I pass on this world. One of the cities we should not miss is ofcourse London. I checked the net for available London Accomodation. I got excited with the irresistable deals available. For example, Abcone Hotel, which is a 3-star hotel located near Kensington has a very good rate that starts from GBP 21. Within the area, a visit to the Kensington Palace is a must. The palace has been the residence of the British Royal Family since the 17th Century.

I would also love to see the London Eye, which is also known as the Millenium Wheel. It is actually an observation wheel where tourists can actually see the whole of London 135 meters above the ground. Isn't spectacular? It is also a beautiful sight to see during night time.

I'm looking forward to planning a trip like this. We will definitely make the most of our stay there. Oh, and I'm sure, the vacation wouldn't be complete without a visit to an LV store. I might get something for myself there as they said it is cheaper to get in Europe.

What's lined up?

I hope I'll be able to squeeze already in my busy schedules the following before the month ends...

1. Prophylaxis

2. Diamond Peel

3. Hair Rebond

4. See my eye doctor for possible Lasik

5. Go to the Spa for massage and body scrub

6. FootSpa with Manicure and Pedicure

7. Get fit in time for the Bianca's bday party

Well, I realized I can easily do the first 6 tasks but the last one? hmmm, I need some pencil pushing here. Ok, I have to admit, I haven't gone to the gym for the last 2 weeks. I'm bad! I'm wasting money here. But I still don't want to cancel my membership. I want to try those hip hop dances in CD which are being sold in HomeTV Shopping. I'm not sure if it would work. Have you guys tried it?

Friends, I need encouragement to get back to the gym...any recommendations?

Beddings for the Kids

Bianca's birthday party is coming up and aside from the birthday party preparation, I'm also busy preparing for our rooms since the photographer will also come to the house to shoot the morning of her birthday. We need to make the rooms neat and so I'm on the lookout now for a new set of nice colored and printed beddings. I have been looking for a month now but I can't seem to find the perfect one for the kids' room cause I want it something very unique. I am even thinking of getting one that should be in line with her birthday party theme which is Disneyland. In my frustration that I cannot buy something suited for my need that is out off the shelves, I decided to research from the internet and I was suprised and got excited when I learned about Childrens Bedding online. This is the perfect one I'm looking for. What's more exciting about it is that I can even provide the pictures to use in the beddings. I just have to create an account with them, choose either one or more pictures to use for the bedspread, blankets or pillows and viola, I have already a very unique and personalized beddings for Bianca. I can use the picture of Bianca that is used for her birthday invitation and put the disney friends part of it as well in line for her birthday theme.

Aside from it, I'm also looking to order another set which includes a bedspread, a bed blanket and a pillow sham. This time, it is for Margaux's bed. I might get the butterfly theme...see for yourself, aren't they cute?

I'm sure Margaux will always look forward to lie on her bed. Such a nice design! Now, I'll conceptualize what I'll get for Bianca.

Awards again...

Thanks to Abie for passing the love to my blog. Got this award again...

Thanks also to Nice for giving this award...You made my day by awarding this to me...

I'm passing this award to Peachy, Kelly and Mich Magbag.

ashop commerce

I recently did an online shopping for my favorite brand of bag. Online shopping is so convenient. In fact, whenever I want to buy something, I make sure to check first if it's available online. Companies nowadays have started to identify the importance of online shopping in their businesses. It definitely boosts their sales, making their products widely available worldwide. One of the important factors in a successful ecommerce is a very reliable shopping cart software. I have learned that Ashop Commerce is a very reliable shopping cart solution providing merchants with an easy set-up software to build their online business. They also have a very good technical support providing total customer service for every concerns or needs of their clients. It is also web-based so no installation required. Designs can even be customized according to the merchant's preference. They are also very affordable providing low monthly fee especially appropriate for those entrepreneurs who are starting their online business. They even provide a 10-day trial to familiarize merchants on how to use the software. Ashop commerce really provide a total shopping cart solution for online businesses. I'm thinking now to get one for my own events planning business.

Why am I annoying?

Tagged by Joy.

I agree this is a hard question...it's hard to confess the truth, lol!

Here's my list...

1. As per Dicky, when we are in argument, I don't easily give up on my points. I will insist even if it is no longer objective.

2. As per Dicky again, I also seldom accept that I am at fault. In other words, I don't want to say "sorry" to him.

3. As per Dicky again, I am a back-seat driver esp to him. He hates it when I am coaching him to change lanes, make it faster, etc.

4. In line with driving, I'm also sometimes a "bad driver!." Well because my job calls me to get to my destination quickly esp if I'm on events, I keep on changing lanes, cutting shorts and horning like crazy to those slow vehicles.

5. I'm an obsessive compulsive. I want details in order and I get upset if it is not followed accordingly.

6. I'm a stress freak! Yes, even if my job calls not to be one, I'm totally annoying if I'm stressed. Though I'm also very good in hiding it esp with clients...pero, tao rin ako!

7. I'm so fickle-minded. I keep on changing on what I want.

8. It could also be because I'm so indecisive esp to shopping. It would take me hours to shop because I can't make up my mind on whatI really want.

Whooh! This is tag is hard...

On planning a trip...

Isn't it obvious that I'm so excited to plan for a trip? After getting our US Non-Immigrant Visa today and after hearing from my husband that we will definitely have a scheduled trip next year, I have started to make my research. I have found a great site on Hotel Reservations. I browsed through the site and I got excited with the valuable rates and packages they have for tourists like us. We are planning to stay longer this time so we might have to look at their available Vacation Packages that are very interesting. The site is very useful as it helps you plan for a real great travel by asking you on what kind of trips would you want. You can specify if you want just one destination or if you want to go to two cities. You can specify as well if you want to travel by car or on a flight. The checklist that they have is very helpful especially for first-time tourist in a city. I also found out that their rates are very competitive. You can even rent-a-car from them, choose to stay in a hotel or motel, and can even book your flight from the website. They also offer resorts, bed and breakfast, condo rentals and even discount club membership. Once you become their discount club member, they offer huge savings of up to 70% off in
Hotels. We have a number of destinations in mind for our trip to US next year. We are looking to go to New York, Dallas and Alabama where Dicky's brother is staying. But I also realized that I can also go to the site to book travel packages not just in US but also in other countries. They have available hotels worldwide. I would definitely save up in my favorites the Hotel Reservations website for all our future travel plans.

We are so happy...

We are just so happy....

We were granted a US Non-Immigrant Visa today. That is for myself and Margaux's renewal and for new application for Bianca.

This was how it went when we were in Window4 already infront of the consul...Dicky was with us.

Consul: So where do you plan to go now?
Me: California
Consul: Where in California?
Dicky: LA, actually Temecula
Consul: What's in Temecula?
Dicky: My sister lives there
Consul: Ok, can I see you old visa? (pertaining to me)
Me: here (handed him my old passport)
Consul: What about you sir? Do you have a visa already? Can I see your passport?
Dicky: Yes, already have, here it is (handed him the passport)
Consul: (returned my old passport and Dicky's) Ok...
(typed something in the computer) after 15 seconds...
Consul: Here, I'm giving you visas (flagging the yellow slips to Bianca's face...while Bianca was banging the window with her hand, hehehe) Oh, little girl, are you going to mess this up? How old are the kids?
Me: 2 and a half (pointing to Margaux) and 11 months (pointing to Bianca)
Consul: Who is the big mess? (smiling)
Me: Both of them! (laughing)
Consul: Oh, my one year old is such a mess. Here... (handed me the yellow slips)
Me and Dicky: Thank you very much
Consul: Goodbye.

May pahabol si Margaux while we were still infront of the consul:

Margaux: Jaburi (Jollibee) na?!

Hay, nagutom na ang anak ko kakaintay for our turn for interview...

And yes, we celebrated by eating in Jollibee! Hehehe, special request eh.

The interview was such a breeze! It was just about less than 5 minutes, parang 3 minutes lang. He didn't even looked at our clearbook where all docs are there.

We are just hoping that we could get the 10years.

Anyway, he didn't ask as to when we plan to travel, unlike before that we were asked specifically when we are going...we just got one year that time...

But what the heck...sige na nga kahit 6 months lang, masaya na ako!

Needless to say, we are really very happy!

Dicky said to me on our way home that we will definitely go next year! Oh, can't wait...can't wait...

Earn while blogging...

I am now really encouraged to earn while blogging. I have registered my blog with Blogsvertise. Once approved, I can already earn extra income by receiving writing assignments to discuss and talk about in my blog. I also look forward in knowing what is new in the market today. I have learned that advertisers have registered their site with Blogsvertise because they have realized the publicity they can get out of it. I encourage friends to also join the bandwagon. The rules are just easy, once the task is assigned, you just need to mention the website in your blog and atleast link it three times in your blog entry. The post must be permanent and should not be deleted in your blog. Your entry will be reviewed for approval and of course you will paid for that writing task once approved. This is a very good opportunity not to waste time on just writing about anything. You can be rewarded at Blogsvertise. So sign up now!

The Challenge...

This is the challenge...

Make this float as the birthday cake of Bianca...

I'm sure the cake-supplier will do a great job!

I'm getting excited...

Smorty

Blogging has been part of my daily life already since i started about two years ago. It has been my way of journaling my activities, the updates about my family and even just scribbling all my emotions. I never realized that I can blog for money. It was my online friend who introduced me to the world of blog advertising. I searched the net and found Smorty where I can get paid for blogging. Most companies have realized that advertising in blogs can truly be effective by creating quality inbound links to their site. Smorty lets the advertiser connects to network of high quality blogs. The advertiser pays the blogger to write opinions in their blogs with links to advertiser's page. Bloggers on the other hand can choose the subjects that interest them that could be suited to their blog content. It is also a good way to broaden one's knowledge and learn about new products and services available in the market today. Now, I know that the time I spent writing contents in my blog won't get wasted because I can also get paid to blog. Why shouldn't you try it as well?

Our color theme...

Our color motif for Bianca's birthday party will be PINK and CHOCOLATE BROWN...

Yes, still can't get over the pink and brown phenomenon...I know it has been gone in weddings but I still like it anyway. Just came now from Margaux's ninang, Mimi who happens to be a part owner of Bumblebee and Company, who specializes in children's costumes. No, we won't be in costume but she can also make very nice children's clothes already as well as very couture dress for moms as well.

Yes, we will be color coordinated even the designs of our dresses, that is for the birthday girl, Bianca; the big sister, Margaux and of course for the very sassy mommy-->that's me! lol

Can't wait for the party...Ok, I have to confess, bday party planning is my career for the month!

New Maids...

Finally, got two maids yesterday..

Well, I ate my word that I won't get from agency anymore. We used to get from agencies before but I got tired of all the hassles of changing from one to another.

Found a new agency to try...i'm hoping for the best. We got two already cause the yaya of Bianca is really scheduled to go home by 2nd week of November. I'm desperate to get good and reliable helpers.

The two look promising but I don't want to speak too soon...

Let's wait and see...spent the whole morning training them...hay!

The Picnic...

We enjoyed the picnic that we had last saturday at UP Sunken Garden. It was an activity of Margaux's school. She had a blast...

As she played frisbee...

And football too...
