Will he get a turbo charger?

Last weekend, we met up with some of our cousins for a night-out in Eastwood since we are planning for my other cousin's wedding. Dicky had a chat with my one of my cousins Eric who is into car racing. Eric showed his new purchase Volkswagen turbo for his beetle. Apparently, the husband got interested with it. These turbocharger can actually increase the speed of any automobile performance. But I just don't like it to be placed on his car. Besides, I told him it could be annoying to some because of the loud noise the nose can emit because of that turbo charger. But Eric has been convincing him so because his supplier has a wide selection of these chargers available for any car model.  They also ship out the item fast.  He guarantees Dicky that they provide quality service.  I just hope he don't fall prey again with these new car accessory.

Friendship Offering...

by Jesse. Really appreciate it. Thanks girl!

"And lovely are the blossoms
That are tended with great care,
By those who work unselfishly
To make the place more fair.
And, like the garden blossoms,
Friendship’s flower grows more sweet
When watched and tended carefully
By those we know and meet.
And, if the seed of friendship
Is planted deep and true
And watched with understanding,
Friendship’s flower will bloom for you."

Hacked!

Last week, my company's website was hacked. Good thing, my reliable website developer has a back-up of all the contents of my blog. But she has to rebuild the site since the editing format were affected. Since then, I have learned to back-up all my blogs including my personal sites. I wonder what these people can do in hacking some sites. I just hate it. Well as they said, it happens in the world wide web. In fact, after my website developer have restored my site, it was hacked again. The hosting company handling my site cannot do anything. Though they have already blocked the IPs of the ones who hacked the site.  But it can happen again anytime.  It's pathetic. Now, I'm actually on the look-out for a new company to host the site so I am making some web hosting reviews. I wonder if this solution can actually guarantee that I will be hacked-free.  But I'm taking measures anyway.  I seached the internet and found out the list from Web Hosting Geeks the Top 10 Web Hosting Company. The site indicates the name of the webhosting company, their best features, their bonus features and their hosting review side by side with each other. The site pretty describes the great deal you can get from these companies.  It is such a good resource for anyone looking for a new webhosting company like me.  You can even see who gets awards like best budget hosting.  And as for me, I am also very particular in email hosting so I checked who got the best email hosting.  And i wasn't suprised that it was yahoo who bagged the award providing 1000 POP3 email accounts and unlimited storage web space in GB with spam protection and 30-days satisfaction guarantee.    Got to do some more reviews now...

Bianca's Bday Party at Shakey's

Despite the heavy rains at exactly 3pm, we were overwhelmed with the outcome of Bianca's party yesterday. A number of friends and relatives attended, in fact, most of the ones we invited came. It only means that we are truly loved by our family and friends, naks!

We started late, almost 5pm because most were stuck in traffic  due to flashflood in Katipunan area. Good thing I really reserved the place at 4pm but I placed 3pm in the invitation.

The kids had fun based on the few pictures I got. I'm still waiting for the official photos from Howell, Abie's dear husband. I was so glad they weren't stranded so Howell was able to take a lot of pictures of the details, well, I supposed.

Here are just some snapshots from our camera:

And Bianca just love Dora, (the mascot) a lot!

For us, it was a great party...all for the happiness of our dear Bianca!

My kids this weekend...

were mostly in parties. Attended Jacqui's Sam's Party in Mcdo El Pueblo. They came in matching pink pants and white blouse...
Margaux and I joined the game but we lost to Sam and Jacqui. Ang hirap ah!

Margaux and Bianca joined in singing Happy Birthday for Sam...
We enjoyed the party and they love the director's chair given by Sam.

Then Sunday ofcourse was Bianca's bday party in Shakey's Katipunan.

Pictures next up on another post...

I'm a chocolate cake!

I just love this quiz. And I really love chocolate cake! Hope I can justify the description though, lol!

You Are a Chocolate Cake

Fun, comforting, and friendly.

You are a true classic, and while you're not super cutting edge, you're high quality.

People love your company - and have even been known to get addicted to you.

My brother...

is asking me to look for tactical pants for my nephew's camping schedule next week. It was actually specified in the letter to parents that kids need to be wearing those kind of pants so that all their tools for the gotcha game can be placed on that tactical pants. I recommended the Operator Tactical Pants I saw online which I think is the best one I have ever seen so far. Not to mention that it is also at an afforfable price of almost about 20% than what you can see off the rack the shelves. It provides more comfort, more pockets and more manueverability.

Bianca's bday celebration in CRIBS

Disclaimer:  This post is not to brag...it is just to share our humbling experience and be inspired to also share your love and time to these homeless kids.

In fact, this was just supposed to be the celebration of her birthday but good thing the dad also agreed for another party in Shakeys.  CRIBS Foundation has always been our favorite charity so we are not new to them.  I have seen some who have moved from infant section to the crawlers section and now was suprised to see them in the toddler section where Bianca celebrated a simple party with them.

Initially, I wanted to just buy packed food from Jollibee or Mcdonalds but I suddenly realized that it would be more meaningful to just cook for them instead.  We had spaghetti, chicken nuggets, hotdogs and jimini's pizzas.  I also bought juices and ice cream for the 10 toddler kids who will be participating.  Of course, there should always be a cake.  I was instructed that it should just be a simple merienda for the kids.
Then Bianca and Margaux were placed in the middle in preparation for the candle blowing of the cake.
And the 10 kids were all there ready to sing happy birthday for my little Bianca...
Candle-blowing time...
It was then time for their merienda...
After eating, Bianca enjoyed giving out the lootbags and the toys to each kid.

And I caught her giving a toy to the kids in the crawling section through that small opening in the door...

It was truly a humbling experience.  The kids cried when we left.  I was moved again and again everytime we visit the place.  If I could just all bring them home.  :-(
