Back from HK...

since last night but I am still wishing we are still there!!!! yep, 4 days was really not enough. I feel like it has passed so quickly. The kids had a blast. But I was so tired tending to the two girls (parang mga boys!  hehehe).  Thanks for the very helpful and responsible husband. I tried to quickly move around Harbour City for like 1.5 hrs only while I left the kids with him in our room in Marco Polo Gateway. I was hoping I could still go to Ikea in Causeway bay as I would like to see if they do have those tables in Toronto like the tulip oval table which I want to put in our lawn but didn't really got the chance to go there anymore.  Shopping was not really a priority for this trip anyway but I was able to sneak in some purchases still.  Well, mostly for the kids.  I barely got something for myself but I managed to bring home one atleast.  Still downloading our pictures and need to find time now to post our vacation story.  Tons of work is also waiting on my desk! Yes, after being gone for just 4 days!!!  Arg, this is what I hate after coming from a vacation, getting back yourself to the groove again.  Wish me luck tomorrow!

Is it to rustic?

I am not sure if this chair actually would fit in the patio of our lawn area. What do you think? I really like it because it exudes a nature feel which would be appropriate for our garden but the husband thinks otherwise. He is really not into so much rustic furniture. He said we should get something more modern that this. But I was explaining that it's the garden anyway and we would like to have more appropriate furnishings based on the greens. Instead, he wants to get those steel garden sets. Hmm, let's see who will win this time?

The walk-in closet...

would look something like this...

Only in my dreams! hahaha! We don't have this big space (sigh).

Let's just say, hopefully we can pull off a mini-version of it.

On Yayas...

I got a text message yesterday from the yaya of Bianca asking if she can come back by 2nd week of January. Of course, I said yes. This made me happy. She's supposed to finish her care-giving course in the province but there were some family issues (daw) according to her when she arrived there 2 weeks ago. Apparently, she said "hirap daw talaga buhay sa probinsya!" so she would rather go back to us. I really like her cause she's very hands-on to Bianca. As mentioned, she finished high school and took care-giver course afterwards. Practicum na lang ang kulang. I told her that we would openly welcome her back. I'm glad for this news. If she would really push through with us, we would end up having 3 yaya/maids, aside from the one who does our laundry and ironing! Hay, soaring household expenses but I don't really mind at all. I'd rather have this set-up rather than having troubles finding one again. By the way, the two other yayas from agency are doing good so far. I think my novenas regarding yayas are working well! Hehehe.

Not our luck...

We went to see again yesterday the above house we saw two weeks ago...the dream house! Even bought mother-in-law to show it. But we learned that it is no longer for sale :-(. Owner decided to live there and use it as their showroom. They are into build and sell business.

But maybe, it is really not for us. Not the Lord wanted us to have. We are taking it as a sign...

A sign whether to pursue buying a lot and building our own or pursue other plans...

We still don't know...we are at crossroads and we are praying for it.
