A friend who works in a financial institution mentioned about a Collateral loan which we can avail. Actually, she is offering it for us. Although, we are not really in need of such, it would be nice to share what it is all about. We could use the existing car titles we have for this kind of loan called car title loans. This is somehow the same with those car title loans Los Angeles. It is like a secured loan that let you borrow money using a property as a collateral. You can use a piece of land, pink slip of car, truck or van to get the value of your loanable amount. It is somehow a kind of loan that you will need especially for emergency or immediate requirement. This kind of loan can be paid based on agreed monthly installments of over period of 36 months. If payment has not been made, there is a chance that the property or whatever car title you have put as collateral would be repossessed. Getting into something like this should be given careful thought and consideration. You do not want to come into terms which something that would put you in a more terrible case of losing all properties. I guess reviewing your family's income and plotting your monthly expense would give you an overview on how much you've got each month. Should it be enough and you really do not need any for emergency case, do not put yourself into a more problem matter later on. Well, just my thoughts.

Car Title Loans?
Two of my cousins are currently selling their cars and we were talking about pink slip loans. Do you know what it is? It is about the different collateral loans that even includes car title loans. My cousins were selling their cars cause they need to use the money for something else. One is actually getting married soon. The other one would need it for their business. So we were discussing how they can actually use the title of their cars to get money out of it. One of my cousins recommended that there are servicing companies like this which actually provides loans without surrendering your car. You can actually keep and drive your vehicle as long as it has a minimum wholesale value of $5000. I heard a company would only require the original notarized title of the car, the car registration, copy of driver's license, social security card and recent paycheck stubs. The car must have comprehensive insurance as well. They would also review your entire home bill including cellphone and utility bills. It is actually a good option in case you really need cash for some immediate requirement or emergency. Now, my cousins are actually exploring that option instead of just selling their cars. It's a better option I think.

Beware: Credit Card Fraud
I received this email from my other egroup who works in East West Bank. Someone did the same thing to me. Good thing, I didn't fall prey in their hands. Last week before going to HK, someone called me saying that I had an increase in credit limit. But I said, I never requested for one. The girl on the other line being persistent was asking personal information. I just answered like few questions. But when she asked me for my credit card number, I said, I cannot give it to her. She should have it on her screen if she's really from the bank. Then she continued by saying that they would get my card in replacement for my new "gold" card. My doubts were confirmed. I said, I won't leave my card for them to pick up since any credit card company wont retrieve a credit card for replacement, they would just send you a new one if need be like in the case of renewals. Then they would just ask you to cut the old one. I said to the girl that I would confirm these with my credit card company's representative as I would call the hotline. Then she hanged up.
She called my mobile landline so I have the number stored in a caller ID. I tried calling the number and after an hour someone said, the girl went out for lunch. When I asked what company it is, a guy said its from bank something, ortigas branch. Then I called up again but no one is picking up until the following days. I reported immediately to my credit card company that same day.
Now, as a warning also, I am posting the telephone number and name of the girl who called me:
Diane Castro - 3879126
Here is a warning we received at the office. I guess walang pinipiling
bangko.
SECURITY ALERT!
A client of a bank dropped by their branch to confirm the
authenticity of a letter which he thought came from EastWest Bank,
Credit Card.
The letter has the bank logo with a notation that it is computer
generated and does not require any authorized signatory.
The letter contained information about the client's increased in
credit line, amounting to Php 350,000.00 and the retrieval of the
existing card must be done for proper assertion of the new credit
line. Also, it was noted in the letter that the card will be replaced
after 2-3 banking days. The client received three follow-up calls
confirming the pick-up of the credit card. The calling party
introduced themselves as EastWest Bank personnel. Believing that
everything is true, the client entrusted his card to the deceitful
messenger.
An inquiry from the Credit Card Department revealed that the client is
not included in the list of names of credit card holders with
increased credit line. His existing credit line is still the initial
limit which is Php 165,000.00. The client's credit line as of October
8, 2008 was already exhausted and as per Credit Card Department,
purchases have been made last September 28, 2008 while the client made
an inquiry about the letter he received last October 3, 2008.
Let us warn our clients on this deceitful act and may this serve as a
warning too, to all of us.

Budget Counseling...
We are hoping for the best result of the pending loan application from another bank for our house construction. The husband is urging that we start within the year although I still have some apprehensions since I want to rather start next year. But we would rely on what's the result of the application instead. If this pushes through, would definitely cut down on unnecessary expenses. Yes, you read it right, unnecessary expenses like no more bags for the meantime. I'm really hoping I can be firm with this cause I don't want to become a victim of some debt management problems. Priorities matter so all my wants would have to set-back a little. In fact, I might consider getting credit counseling. Did you know that Bills.com offers this kind of service not only about debt management or helping you get out of debt but also about reviewing of finances, and advising on budgeting. I guess I would need the latter, since I'm really bad on that aspect. The site can even help you find your credit rating and can even give you credit monitoring which is an essential service especially for those with mortgages. In fact, you will be suprised that you they do charge minimal amount only for this kind of counseling which is very appropriate especially on this trying times. The cost can actually be depending on what service you will get. It is just a great resource to consider not only about debt management but also managing properly your finances and assets.

Choices...
Got inspired by Jane's blog, I also wanted to post my choices. Dicky said it's a social injustice to buy such kind of a bag. I just answered...it's an investment! Whaah!

I'm saving up for a christmas gift for myself!

Anong klaseng mag-asawa kayo?
Hehehe, gastos to the max ako eh.
Hehehe.
Kayo, anong klaseng mag-asawa kayo?
