Bianca has a passport finally! I'm so excited. My baby is such a cutie in this picture. Of course, Mommy has to blog about it, just like when I got

Margaux's Passport.

I wonder also when matatatakan ang passport ni Bianca and where could be her 1st destination? Margaux then was Los Angeles, California. That's what I hope for Bianca too...But that could be a little longer pa. I would settle even for just an Asian destination...did you read that babes? (hahaha)--> nagpapa-pansin po!

On Margaux and Bianca...

It's been a while since I last posted about the kids...

Both are doing ok...such adorable and pretty princesses...(syempre pa love your own!)

Margaux has been very good with her alphabet, with shapes and colors as well as her numbers. She's counting up to 20 now! What a bright kid! To think, she isn't having any schooling yet at this time.

I got some books/workbooks and I'm trying to have some regular schedule with her every morning. We are trying to answer the workbook, two pages a day. It has improved her a lot. She is also potty trained already but there are some miss moments still.

As per Bianca, she's so adorable...recognizes her name when being called...knows how to do close open, clap hands, high five and wave bye-bye. She's already turning 9 months by August that's why the mommy is in high gear for her birthday preparations.

She squeals in delight whenever she sees me and Dicky. I'm also glad that her atopic dermatitis is improving a lot.

I'm just glad both girls are in good health always.

I just don't want them to grow so fast cause I just love cuddling them. In time, we will be shopping together...

Life's choices...

Remember my post for wala lang?

Ok...the news then was Dicky was supposed to go to US for two weeks (business trip). I'm just so happy cause he didn't push through...

It was actually a good news for him if he will go but a bad news for me cause "iwan ako, kami!"

But I'm just glad he doesn't have to leave.

As you know, I'm the kind of wife who doesn't want to be left behind. I always fret whenever he has a business trip of some sort. Likely, I would always want to join. But there are just some instances which I cannot come and that will be a long rebattle between us, months before his scheduled trip.

I don't know how to survive in case he works overseas.

I salute those wives who have the courage to overcome the challenges of having a husband working abroad. In other words, those OFW's. In one of our trips together, I witnessed how a wife and her two kids cried profoundly at the entrance of the airpot as they bid goodbye to the man of the house. But I guess they would just have to endure all the pain of being away from each other in order to build a good future for their whole family.

How am I gonna survive if I'm on their shoes? I don't know, I just don't know.

How far are you willing to take to be away from your family in order to secure a future for them?

I always believe that as husband and wife, you should always be together, to grow together but life sometimes isn't just fair so some doesn't really have the choice but to seek greener pasture outside the country.

Again, this is even broader. Good Future, greener pasture for your family is always subjective to different people. How do you decide if you are for migration to another country? How do we define good future? How do we secure our kids from being a nobody to somebody when they grow up? How do you secure stability of your financial freedom?

We have our answers. We all have our own choices.

The June that was...

Ok, this is also an overdue posting...

But I realized I should not let this month of July passed without recounting what happened last month. I know I'm a slacker with my blogs recently...but I'm trying...really trying...

To start it off, June is a very important month for us, not to mention that is also an expensive month for us. Why? Dicky and I are both June bday celebrants...

June 1 - I turned 30 years old! Boy, this was how it feels to be 30! I suddenly felt so "young" hehehe. Realizing that it would only be a year and my age will be gone from roman calendar, made me recount all the blessings I had, I have since then. I can only say that Life is pretty good, and I owe everything to the One up there.

Bday Party Celebration? Didn't have this year, although I was planning before but just decided eventually not to push through, instead throw a suprise bday party for Dicky, which I posted already last time. Besides, I had a wedding exactly during my birthday. It was my first time to accept a wedding falling exactly on the day. I really didn't mind at all since the couple was very nice to me. They even gave me a gift! I have yet to post it in the other blog. I was even greeted by the groom during his thank you speech infront of all their guests. It made their appreciation to my work so special.

On that weekend of my bday, I had a blast as Dicky gave me "shopping money." Isn't this a wife's most precious gift? And he even accompanied me while shopping! And the best part of it all, there's the finale...wrapped in a small square box...a watch! Oh, can't thank him enough!

But of course, I also have an advance gift for him...I booked a travel to Puerto Princesa, Palawan last June 10-13. It was actually my anniversary and bday gift for him, (actually, a vacation gift also for myself). I booked it through PALAKBAYAN of Philippine Airlines without Dicky knowing. I just blocked the date and told him about it after I have paid for it. He hadn't had much choice as I requested him to take a leave from his office.

The Palawan trip was superb. It was a time-off from the kids. We enjoyed ourselves being on our own. I really believe on this one, that it is not at all bad to leave the kids behind (considering there is someone reliable to leave the kids, like in our case, my mom) for some quick getaway to rekindle some moments with each other.

It was a great vacation. It was an early morning flight so we were in Puerto Princesa as early as 930am. Palawan opened up the adventurer side of us. We stayed at Legend Hotel. We had a tour of the city on our first day. We went to Iwahig Penal Farm, Crocodile Farm, Baker's Hill, Mitra's Ranch, Butterfly Pavilion. On our second day, Dicky and I particularly loved the snorkelling in Honda Bay islands. I love the fish feeding. We were guided by our boatman so he directed us to nice spots of corals and schools of fishes. It was entirely a different experience down there. I would definitely want to repeat it. On our third day, the Underground River was also a different adventure. It was a 45-minutes ride in a paddle boat. We were priveledged to be guided by the popular boatman there, Mang Totong, who was interviewed by Discovery Channel. He was the usual boatman being asked by the foreigners. I hope next time, we can bring the kids when they are bigger. At a toddler age, they may not enjoy the demand of the place to become adventurer. For kids, I bet boracay will be a better choice. But I'm still convincing Dicky to try the other parts of Palawan, esp El Nido and Coron. The province has such a vast land area and there are some more places to explore. Hope we can try the others next time!

Sneak Preview...

It is indeed the happiest place on earth...

Movie Marathon...

About two late nights since last week were movie dates...

I never thought I would enjoy the movie but I did...I'm not so fond of robots nor of those cartoon series of these protectors but I just had a great time watching it. Transformers rocked the movie house!

This is Hard Core Action. Full-Packed. I also like the story being so "technology today," makes me think that it could really happen.

Have yet to see tonight..

Thank God for good movies this time...
