are lined up waiting for their turns for a salon make-over. This was during one of the play times with the girls.
What are my girls favorite play/game? They love pretending to be somebody so we always ended up doing the following make-believes:
1. Teacher-Student
2. Doctor - Patient
3. Hairdresser - Client
4. Chef-Waiter-Customer
5. Cashier - Shopper

Books for the Girls...
I got a number of books from "Books for Less" the other day. I was so happy to get these since most of these are just worth Php 50! But they are all in good condition. I took those easy reading books that would help in training Margaux to read. The books are really geared for Kindergarten students and there's even a process to follow for the parents in helping their child to read. I think these are good deals from Books for Less. Some are even Dr. Seuss books. I am making it a point to read books to them every night before going to bed. I have actually planned out already the books that they are going to read every week. We have a number in stock so I have no worries...

On the plane...
Look, how behave they were on the plane. It was a long haul straight flight of 13 hours. Good thing, we got the bulk head seats without the need to pay extra since we have requested for it when we booked our tickets. Now, bulk head seats and exit door seats do have payment of $50 each should you want to be assigned there.
The kids just enjoyed watching movies while on board. They watched Princess and the Frog and How to Train your Dragon. In between times, they were just sleeping. They are now used to sleep just sitting down on their seats. There were pillows and blankets so it was easy and comfortable for them too. I'm so proud of my girls for surviving the flights!

Summer Class...
for the kids = NONE!!! Hahaha, I'm such a good mom right? Oh well, the husband doesn't want them to go for swimming lessons anymore since they really might get dark. Not a nice sight to behold when we go to the US. I enrolled them to Trumpets in Podium beforehand but I have to retrieved back the fees since they really cannot finish the entire summer class. The culminating activity, their stage play is actually going to be shown my mid-May. So we won't be here anymore. Instead of going on any summer class, they are just enjoying non-stop watching TV, DVDs, eating and just lazing around our house. I must say, I have saved few thousands because of it.

Rabbits...
Oh I failed to blog about this. The kids were ecstatic when they received this gift from my friend AA. Bianca most especially love to play with the rabbits. She would bring them out in our garden every morning and afternoon. Margaux would feed them morning, lunch and dinner. They were very happy with these pets.

Unfortunately, they didn't last...sad :-(
We didn't actually know the reason why they died. It just happened! One morning when we woke up, they were both very gloomy. The day didn't end for them. The kids were sad.
I wonder how to take proper care of these creatures because the kids want us to get new rabbits again but I'm already hesitant.
Clues/Tips?

Parties last weekend...
We attended the 5th Birthday Party of Sam (of Jacqui) last saturday and 1st Birthday Party of Dom (of Peachy) last sunday. It was a fun and great weekend. The kids had a blast. I so love the parties and I ate a lot! Boo for my diet! lol!
I like the host that Jacqui got for the party. He was funny. I also love Wanlu to bits during the birthday of Dom! Never fails to amuse the guests. We hired Wanlu during Margaux's 1st birthday also and with I saw last sunday, I like him even more. Now, makes me wish to throw Margaux another party next year. Well, I am still going to ask the husband if he would approve of it.
Here are some pictures of the kids from the parties...

New Costumes...
So after fitting the dumbo costume for Bianca and found out that the pants are too short for her already, I immediately went to the mall to grab some nice costumes. I really don't want those creepy costumes. I was looking for something nice yet affordable since I bet it would only just be worn once.
Was torn whether to get Margaux a Fairy costume because previously she was trying on some wings and wand.
But the fairy costumes I saw doesn't have her size anymore. So I just decided to get her another unique costume....although it was off the shelves one, I was proud that she was one of the winners in the halloween program in our village clubhouse. With more than 400 kids in different costumes, I was happy that she was chosen as the first-runner up in the Fantasy category. She was Cleopatra, an Egyptian Queen! lol!
As for Bianca, I got two overcoats with hood for her. One as a red bug and another one as a leopard.

My kids...
Thanks so much to Diane for this lay-out...
They are sisters and they are best of friends....
Although I usually act as a referee when moments like they would have to struggle for the same toy at the same time ;) I still believe that they are the best of friends. They love hugging and kissing each other. They also love playing with one another. You should see them when they are sleeping together. ;) I love having two girls! They're the sweetest!!!

Disney on Ice...
Got information from friends that this is a good one. I wish we can also watch. Need to ask the husband first though...
I'm sure the kids would love it especially Bianca who loves Mickey Mouse to bits! I wonder if we can squeeze it in our super busy December schedule?
Heard also that they do pre-selling of tickets for BDO credit card holders until October 16. Otherwise, you can only purchase tickets after that date.
I'm wishing they can also accept paypal payments already!

Movie Date with the Kids...
The husband planned to bring both kids to the theater. It wasn't the first time for Margaux but it was for Bianca. She was pretty scared at first because of the scary trailers that were shown on the 1st part. (movie theaters should be consistent that when it is GP movie, should also show GP movies for trailers) Anyway, the kids and even me and the husband enjoyed the movie UP from Pixar and Disney. In fact, I had some emotional (read: crying) moments on some parts of the movie. I felt bad for the old man to be missing his wife! The kids love it! They enjoyed the movie a lot!
The movie is about young Carl Fredrickson meets a young adventure spirited girl named Ellie. They both dream of going to a Lost Land in South America. 70 years later, Ellie has died. Carl remembers the promise he made to her. Then, when he inadvertently hits a construction worker, he is forced to go to a retirement home. But before they can take him, he and his house fly away. However he has a stowaway aboard. An 8 year old boy named Russell, whose trying to get an assisting the elderly badge. Together, they embark in an adventure, where they encounter talking dogs, an evil villain and a rare bird named Kevin.

Lovely dresses for kids...
We went to Eastwood Mall last saturday since we have to get a birthday present for a party we had to go to. We went to Baby Fashionista's store (Prim's store) and there Margaux found a lovely dress. She never took off her eyes from the dress and she fitted it herself.
So I bought it for her and also got a red dress for Bianca. They both look so lovely...(manang-mana sa mommy! hehehe!)
