Had a very relaxing massage last saturday. Dicky and I went to Suriya Spa again. We have been a regular patron of this spa. We love the amenities and also the massage itself.

Do I look drunk?
These pictures taken last monday as I headed out to MCafe in Greenbelt to hang-out with friends. A friend coordinator from Cebu was here in Manila so we made sure to bring her out since she was generous also to bring us around the last time we were in Cebu.
Gee, the rockstar drink from MCafe is so good! But after just a glass, I was all red!
Enough partying this week. Had a another one last wednesday for the launch of Beautiful Weddings Magazine of Wedding Essentials. Oh and I'm so glad because three of our previous weddings are featured on that issue. (Reyes-Platon Wedding, Navarro-Puno Wedding and De Leon-Ochoa Wedding). Plus I also have a write-up of the most memorable wedding we have for this year.

He needs a lot of suits...
It's a big week for Dicky starting today. He is busy in polishing his presentation for the execom meeting happening this week. It's a monthly thing and I'm proud that the husband is already part of the exclusive execom committee of the whole JG Summit group. With it, he has been bugging me last weekend to check out new suits for him to buy to wear on this regular meeting schedule. We tried checking out some stores in the mall but too bad that we can't find a perfectly fitting suit for him based on his built and height. So this morning, I tried to check on the internt if there are stores where we can just order online. And goodness that I found MySuitNy.com. I was ecstatic to inform Dicky about this Made to Measure Suits available for him. And it's so amazing because we can already get his suit in 2 weeks time with a very affordable price tag. They have a very simple buying process which you can do either online or make an appointment and go to their store. For online buyers, first, they would do measuring online. A guide will be given on how to prefectly get the proper measurement of a man's body in order to achive the accurate specs. Then you would choose what jacket and pant style would you like. Your choices vary from how many buttons to use, pockets, lapel, vests, sleeve buttons for the jacket. And for the pant style your choices could be based on lining, pockets, brace buttons, side tabs and belt loops. Then finally, you would have to choose the fabric and color. Isn't this a good option to get a suit that is based really on your measurement and preference? Seldom you see something off-the-rack that gives you the perfect-looking suit that includes everything you want from the choices mentioned above. Now, Dicky is convinced to just order his suits online.

Birthday Party Updates!
It dawned on me yesterday that it is already Oct 2 and haven't done any single preparation for the 2nd birthday party of Bianca. So after checking again my options, I headed off to Shakeys Katipunan to book the venue. I decided for this venue because of their flexibility with my requests. I can bring in the Dora the Explorer theme and bring in my own decors and loots. Meaning, would just get the venue and food from them.

Really need new glasses.
From the Clark Howard Show online, it talks about the Zenni Optical eyeglasses available online. Zenni has great new selections of new frames available. You should look at the great feedback of customers they have around the globe and I could be one of them. I really need a replacement for my eyeglasses since Bianca has played it. Although I only use it while at home, I still want a stylish eyeglasses with a very reasonable amount. Thanks to Zenni that offers it at a very affordable price since they are also manufacturing their own frames. This becomes a great option rather than going through middlemen sales agent. ZenniOptical.com sells Stylish Prescription Glasses Online from only $8. You will find a huge selection of frames, with single vision lens, sunsensor (potochromic) lens, tinted sunglasses lens, bifocal lens and progressive lens. Normally, it takes them around 2 weeks to deliver the glasses from the time you order online. Nevertheless, that is fine with me because of the convenience of online shopping.

Casino in Macau?
I saw some pictures of Venetian Hotel in Macau and boy oh boy, I'm drooling and can't wait to see it myself when we go there 2 weeks from now. We intend to take the ferry going to Macau on the first day that we would arrive in Hong Kong. My cousins would like to check the casinos there. I am not sure if we would play as I dont have luck even for a simple slot machine. But one of my cousins who will be with us enjoys playing online Casino like the one from Casino De. Well, he is kinda addicted with it and he says that he's been lucky in winning in playing some black jacks. He recommends this site among other online site because it offers great playing techniques and bonuses. But for me, I am so bad with card games. Dicky usually has poker nights with friends and I still haven't memorized the game even. I always end up asking question from him whenever we play together. Funny because I was competing with him but then I was asking him. For the trip to Macau, I'm also excited to hop the free shuttle to bring us from one hotel to another. I'm sure it would be one fun trip. We intend to do some sight seeing and some window shopping as well (promise!), just window shopping, but definitely no casino playing!

Me, Blonde?
Since I recently had a haircut, I would have wanted to get a hair color but alas, I cannot as you know, hair coloring is not possible for rebonded hair. So this hair color test is not possible. Anyway, I would just like to post it because of "you know", it's necessary. (lol!)

Men's Cartier
As my trip for Hong Kong will be in two weeks time, I have been making a list of our itinerary as well as the things to check on some stores there. Apparently, the husband is asking me to buy him 2 pairs of shoes. I cannot disagree as I do not want to be reprimanded for all other things I would buy for the kids and for myself in Hong Kong. I am also thinking to check out a christmas gift for him there. I have been thinking if a dslr camera would be a nice gift for him. He has been mentioning the idea of buying one actually. But I am also thinking of giving him another watch. This would compensate for the number of bags I bought for the year! (lol). I have checked out sites to look at great new watches in the market today. I stumbled upon The Watchery just now and I have been drooling over nice Cartier watches. I am sure the husband wouldn't mind getting one men's cartier and I wouldn't mind getting a "her" collection to partner with the watch I am eyeing. See picture below of what I found. The watchery has great selection of 100% authentic luxury watches including of course Cartier, Breitling, Tag, Omega and many others. They are currently offering substantial discounts from the manufacturer's suggested retail price. Gee, I need to work doubly hard for my assignments if I really want to push through of this plan, because of a great information that this site accepts paypal money!

What my driving says about me?
Been driving for 6 years now. I love it because it gives me a sense of independence. Though at times, I just wish I have a driver, but I just can't afford one now, lol! So I will settle with my own driving skills. (hehehe)

Morey's Piers
My cousin's family based in New Jersey sent me their pictures from their recent family beach vacation. I can see how much fun they had in MoreySpiers, which is the best amusement park in Jersey. Oh, how I love to visit the place and also experience the thrill in enjoying the the two large beachfront waterparks. I am very sure the kids will have a blast in the kiddie rides while the husband would really love the roller coaster. The major attractions include The Great Nor' Easter, The Sea Serpent, The Great White and they even have the giant Ferris Wheel. They amusement park is so known for the fastest roller coasters available. But not to worry because they also have something for the small kids like mini scooters, mini tea cups, kiddie train and jump around among the few others. My cousin said that it should really be part of our itinerary when we come visit them in New Jersey. She recommends us checking out the wildwood hotels motels, which offers fantastic accommodations. She told us that they stayed in guestrooms which are actually beachfront. That would be such a good view I'm sure. They also offer weekly specials for the whole family to enjoy. Our family loves travelling and I really love to bring the kids on exciting places like this. I want them to remeber always how happy childhood is for them and that they would treasure such family vacations like this even when they grow up. Now, it's a matter of timing the vacation when both Bianca and Margaux can really run around to enjoy the rides. Hope we can do so in the next couple of years. It's definitely one of the great amusement parks we would love to check and visit.

Bianca's Birthday Theme
Need to plan now for Bianca's 2nd birthday party. Obviously, I want Dora the Explorer as the party theme. I'm starting from scratch as I finally just got the approval from the husband to celebrate it. I need to finalize and decide the venue by next week. Hopefully work on food, invites, prizes, lootbags and few decors.
Now, I have a problem as to how can I trim down my guests to 100pax only! I was requested by the daddy to keep the party at its minimum and not match it with the other previous celebrations of the 1st birthdays of Margaux and Bianca having about 250 guests! I wonder how I can manage it!
Goodluck to me!

Budget Counseling...
We are hoping for the best result of the pending loan application from another bank for our house construction. The husband is urging that we start within the year although I still have some apprehensions since I want to rather start next year. But we would rely on what's the result of the application instead. If this pushes through, would definitely cut down on unnecessary expenses. Yes, you read it right, unnecessary expenses like no more bags for the meantime. I'm really hoping I can be firm with this cause I don't want to become a victim of some debt management problems. Priorities matter so all my wants would have to set-back a little. In fact, I might consider getting credit counseling. Did you know that Bills.com offers this kind of service not only about debt management or helping you get out of debt but also about reviewing of finances, and advising on budgeting. I guess I would need the latter, since I'm really bad on that aspect. The site can even help you find your credit rating and can even give you credit monitoring which is an essential service especially for those with mortgages. In fact, you will be suprised that you they do charge minimal amount only for this kind of counseling which is very appropriate especially on this trying times. The cost can actually be depending on what service you will get. It is just a great resource to consider not only about debt management but also managing properly your finances and assets.

For the dad...
So the dad won't get envy, Margaux had a another artwork from school. She brought it home yesterday...

I so love the values they are teaching in Miriam CSC. We noticed how Margaux has become more affectionate, loving and sweet. She usually says "I love you mom and dad" and even "I love you Bianca!" with matching big hug and kiss from her!
Indeed, saw the change in her.
Good values are so important.

I attended a coordinator's friend last sunday. It's so nice to be a guest sometime in a wedding. And to our friend Berlyn, she took off a different hat this time, as a bride and not the coordinator.
I'm proud of my make-up...did it myself! BE flawless!
