It will be a different experience this year. We are celebrating new year's eve at Hotel Intercon. As per request of MIL, she wanted to check-in a hotel to try a different celebration. We are excited for the countdown party. The kids will love the fireworks in Makati for sure. Hay, malayo sa usok!
I'm taking this as a break!

Shopping on Sunday!
I will be hitting the road early tomorrow for an event in Tagaytay. Will stay for the night there as I might be too tired to even go back the following day for another wedding on saturday. But I'm looking forward to sunday as it would be my only day to shop for christmas gifts! Yes, I will only start on sunday. You see, that's why I still don't take pictures of our christmas tree as it is so bare with gifts and even with trimmings. I still have yet to buy :-(
No event, and no meetings please on sunday. I deserve this day! Shopping can make me sane. Otherwise, I'll go crazy na with all my busy schedule. Monday and Tuesday is another story as have back-to-back events. No I won't rest on sunday even if I'm tired. The mall is my resting place. I'll start early as it is a weekend. I'm sure there would be a lot of people doing their final christmas shopping also. I have to do my list tonight!
Can't wait for sunday!

I deserve a break...
I have been sleep deprived and so tired for the past few weeks already. I think I deserve a break. I hope to go on vacation come end of January or February. But I still have events coming out on those months. I wonder when I can get a break. For the meantime, let me day dream first of a destination I would love to go and try. I was browsing for some Lodging Special and got engrossed with Amelia Island in Florida. How I wish! I wish to come to this beautiful island. It has been voted as one of the top 10 islands in America by Conde Nast readers. They offer great golf courses which I'm sure my husband would love. And their restaurant looks fabulous and would really love to have the chance to dine in there one time. They offer unlimited activities for kids and adults alike. I'm sure the whole family will definitely enjoy. I also learned that they are running a special promotion at this time. They are giving the 3rd night for free if you book and stay for two nights. It's an ultimate hotel, bed and breakfast deal which no one can resist. Now, I'm thinking, the promotion is running until the 29th of February 2008. I'm dreaming to go to this fantastic island.

Dubai...
Have you watched the Filipino movie Dubai? Most of the scenes there were actually shot in Dubai. I got interested with the city. Dicky has an uncle who is based there together with his family and staying in of the dubai apartments. They said the place is a pretty good destination for travel considering it is in Middle East. I have a flight attendant client who is based in Dubai. She said that dubai hotels are actually very stunning. As far as I know, the only 7-star hotel is actually located in Dubai. She also told me that if we plan to visit Dubai, we should check out the available dubai hotel apartments which we could find online. She informed me of www.dubaiapartments.biz/ site which is the biggest short term rental portal in dubai with over 120 self-catering properties. I browsed through the site and I found it very user friendly to tourists who are planning a trip to the city. It is a highly sophisticated website that connects tourists with owners of dubai furnished apartments and hotels. I learned from the site that Dubai is a city that has a little something for everybody. It is an ultramodern city that offers clean, safe and dynamic tourism. It is hard to believe that at the beginning of the 20th century there were no roads, running water, electricity or hospitals in this city. Things have changed dramatically. Today Dubai has been transformed into a fascinating mix of modern hi-tech buildings and sumptuous traditional Arabic culture. It is one of the safest cities in the world. A number of foreigners are leaving in this city so it caters to fusion of different culture and diversity. It also offers beautiful white sandy beaches, clear seas, and modern hotel facilities that atrract most tourists. As said in the website, Dubai is not about the past. It is about the present and the future. Now, this city makes it in my list of places to visit in my lifetime.

On Hair Loss...
My brother has been suffering from hair loss. Well, I guess this has been genetic to our family. Most of my uncles are also experiencing the same thing. Some are even bald already. My brother has been reading a lot on hair loss forum to get information about it and learn new treatments available in the market. In the forum, a lot of reviews has been given regarding Provillus. It is an all natural herbal hail loss re-growth product that received 10/10 rating from it customers. He is now looking to buy the product online. It even has an 180 days money back guarantee. I hope the product could really ease his concern.

On Wedding Jewelries...
I often help out my bride and groom to look for their perfect wedding rings. It is one the important details of any wedding. Nowadays, bride and grooms would like to get their rings with diamonds, paricularly the bride's ring. I found new styles and great designs from James Allen. In the site, a client can even design their own rings. They have wide selections of diamond engagement rings, wedding and anniversary diamond jewelries. They are one of the most progressive online jewelry stores. They even provide free shipping and offers 30-day return. Now, that's a real good deal. Would recommend the site to my clients.

Sloterix
When we were in Las Vegas last year, I enjoyed playing the slot machine in the casinos there. This is the only game I can easily play inside the casino. While searching the net, I have learned about Sloterix, which is one of the oldest slots site over the net. Here, players can play slots and enjoy all the marvelous interactive online slots games. Currently, there's over 100,000 registered players who are playing slot machines at Sloterix on a regular basis. The site was newly updated with new downloads to play. One would surely enjoy this online slot experience.

Margaux's better now...
I'm glad that my Margaux is better now. She's still very active. Para ngang walang sakit. Di naman masaydong lumaki her neck/chin. I guess pawala na rin now. The pedia said that the MMR shot that she had before had helped na di lumala. Thank God. I hope Bianca won't catch it. Yes, I guess, it's uso? I learned also that she has another classmate who is also absent today because of mumps as well.
Thanks for all the concerns...

I want to be with my kids NOW!
This is one of the sacrifices I have to endure in having this kind of work....
I got a phone call from home yesterday while coordinating a wedding that Margaux was complaining of neck pains since the afternoon. I thought it could just be a stiff neck. But I was so worried that she was crying because of it. When I arrived last night, she was already sleeping. I was dead tired to even check it. This morning, she was again complaining the neck pain. We put a hot compress cause I was really suspecting na stiff neck lang. Then I decided to call her pediatrician. We were advised to go to her clinic this morning but I can't come cause I have another wedding to coordinate today. I was even late already for my calltime. So Dicky who was supposed to have also a meeting this morning has to be the one to accompany Margaux and her yaya.
Now, I learned from Dicky that it is MUMPS! Hay, kawawa naman my Margaux! The pedia said it could last for a week so no school for her next week. And then the pedia asked Dicky to fetch back Bianca and bring her also to the clinic so she can be administered with the vaccine for mumps cause she might catch it as well. My poor babies! (huhuhu)
I feel bad about these times that I have to work and cannot attend to my kids. I have a commitment to my couple right now that I'll be here in this wedding from start to finish so I really can't leave.
How bad is Mumps? Could there be complications to it?

More on Cash Advance...
I have been posting regarding payday loan and I have mastered already what is it all about. Nevertheless, I got interested about information on these matters. Cash Advance are the fastest way to obtain secure, online cash with such an easy application. I think something like this would be beneficial to those who are in need of emergency cash. Application usually doesn't need documents to fax. Once approved, the money will be electronically deposited to the borrower's checking or savings account. TrustSource.org actually list sites that have been reviewed and ranked by people who used the payday loans sites already. Most of these cash advance sites offer flexible payment options and discrete services that gets you the money to the borrower right away. In the site, one can view the ratings of this cash advance sites and can even rank the site themselves. I just wonder is there's something like this in our country. I think it would also be of great help to those who working individuals who might need cash advance to meet both ends in between salary date. I guess borrowing money is really not bad as long as one takes responsibility about it. It should always coupled with right attitude and commitment to an obligation.

What's happening?
What a freaking day!!!!
What's happening to our country?
Came from Rustan's Makati because of a photo shoot for a magazine, then Glorietta closed up at 4pm so we were rushed to finish the shoot. Then heard in the radio in my car that an APC broke in the lobby of Peninsula Manila. What a F***!!!
I was freaking out! Super affected ako...waaah!
Because we got married in this hotel. So that makes it my favorite hotel.
Super sayang ang lobby! Newly renovated pa naman :-(
What's the problem with these people? Can't they just fight their own battle, rather than mangdamay pa!
***Can you imagine??!! There's a wedding in the hotel supposedly tonight! Kawawa naman diba? And I'm helping a coordinator friend who has an event in the hotel also on saturday to look for alternative reception venue for her couple! The bride is just crying :-( These couples should triple charge Trillanes for the cost of their whole wedding!!!
There are little concerns also re my wedding tomorrow because of this happening. Well, a number of guests are cancelling attendance and delivery issues of the suppliers to the venue tonight! Though it's in Roxas Boulevard but curfew will strike this midnight! And most of the suppliers are setting up in the venue this midnight! HAY!

On Yayas...
I got a text message yesterday from the yaya of Bianca asking if she can come back by 2nd week of January. Of course, I said yes. This made me happy. She's supposed to finish her care-giving course in the province but there were some family issues (daw) according to her when she arrived there 2 weeks ago. Apparently, she said "hirap daw talaga buhay sa probinsya!" so she would rather go back to us. I really like her cause she's very hands-on to Bianca. As mentioned, she finished high school and took care-giver course afterwards. Practicum na lang ang kulang. I told her that we would openly welcome her back. I'm glad for this news. If she would really push through with us, we would end up having 3 yaya/maids, aside from the one who does our laundry and ironing! Hay, soaring household expenses but I don't really mind at all. I'd rather have this set-up rather than having troubles finding one again. By the way, the two other yayas from agency are doing good so far. I think my novenas regarding yayas are working well! Hehehe.

Sports in Europe
One of my ultimate goals is to travel to Europe. There are just so many things to do in that continent. Aside from its romantic cities, I would also like to try other adventures that it could offer. I think if given a chance, I would really want to catch some Formula 1 Tickets to witness such an exciting race. The European Grand Prix is an action packed adventure for the whole family. There is a Spanish Grand Prix that happens in the beautiful surroundings of Barcelona. There is also the luxurious surroundings of Monte Carlo at the Monaco Grand Prix. There is also the Belgian Grand Prix and the British Grand Prix. Just choosing from one of these races will definitely be a great steal for a European tour. And where else to get tickets for these than Viagogo.co.uk. It is the leading ticket hub in Europe. What's good about the site is that matches buyers and sellers of concert tickets, sports tickets, theatre tickets and more.
But I'm sure Dicky would also love to check out the British Open so these Golf Tickets are also available online from Viagogo.co.uk. Tennis is also such a popular sports in Europe. So it would also be a good choice to watch the Wimbledon. Tennis Tickets to this event really get to be booked in advance. I am keeping in mind the site as it would definitely be a great help for a future European tour.

Margaux's Field Trip (1st Part)
So the fieldtrip last friday pushed through. We rode the LRT from Santolan Station up to Gateway. Margaux together with her classmates enjoyed the train ride. Cameras are not allowed pala inside the station, but i was so pasaway to catch some snapshots still.

I'm a jetsetter wannabe...
If you read my other site, I have indicated in my about page that I'm a jetsetter wannabe. I want to travel, and travel and travel! Yes, that's one of my ultimate dreams. One of the countries I want to visit will be Costa Rica. I have learned that the country offers great adventures for travellers. I have searched the internet and found out about Costa Rica Hotel Reviews. I am particularly interested about Hacienda Pinilla which is a luxury resort that features colonial architectural designs. In the website, you can also be updated with the latest Costa Rica News. Travel to this country could be something different for the usual traveller.

Busy with blogging...
Thanks for all those who visited my new site. Thanks for linking it up too. I don't have plans of leaving blogspot yet. I have started this blog more than two years ago and I'm just happy with the thoughts and notes I have written here plus the fact that I have gained new friends. Anyway, please bear with me as I'm juggling things now with work and blogging! Bwahaha. This is a new career!
But no, I'm still a wife and a mother. (just like what others have said in their blogs!-->you know who you are!)
I also need to revive my BE site as I'm getting a number of inquiries again about it. Well, blame it on my TV appearance. People said flawless ang make-up ko dun! Bwahaha!
I also need to update my Events Experts Blogsite. I have two pending entries for it, our Nov 10 and Nov 17 weddings.
Hopefully, I can get my hands do things this weekend as i don't have events! Thank God! No, I'm not complaining about my work, don't get me wrong. But I'm just glad that I still have this last free weekend before December hits. I'm getting ready for it!

Update on "I got upset"
Remember my post on I got upset?
This is what Margaux's teacher replied to me in the journal...
I would like to say thank you for you candor and honesty about how you felt pertaining to the incident with ... I would like to apologize that it happened. I have also observed that Margaux has not been hitting anymore and I know that the consistency in the home and in school and most especially your guidance has helped in this concern Therefore, again, thank you very much for your support. We would like our classroom and generally our school to be a safe environment for all children and their families. Thus, please be assured that we are taking appropriate measures to address and handle the situation; and I'm also taking extra precautions especially for Margaux.
I now rest my case. I'm confident that her teacher is doing her best to handle the situation.
Anyway, the field trip last friday was cancelled because of the rain. We are having it this friday instead. Looking forward to it!

Job Hunting
Are you looking for a great job right now that offers valuable benefits and career growth? Before you can even land one, you need to pass the application process that involves sending your resume, passing the written interviews and even oral interviews. But to even get recognized, one should pass an impressive curriculum vitae. After graduating from college, I had a hard time making my own resume comprehensive enough to be noticed by companies. I have to ask my brother to help me out with it. I was on a lookout for information on how to make a resume. Today, information is actually available through a book. A quick and easy to read book for 27 pages that gives valuable information on how to skyrocket your job hunting success. I should have known this book a long time ago. The book is called how to make a great resume. Testimonials in their website are actually amazing. It provides step by step instructions on how to get your resume read by the hiring manager to be selected for an interview. You will definitely get a competitive edge over the others. This is a must for recent college graduate or any one who is seeking out a new career or job. I'm thinking to get this as gift for my cousin who is graduating march of next year.

Better Caring
My friend based in the UK told me that she already found a reliable and reputable nursing home for her grandmother. She said she was very happy with Bettercaring since it actually provides a dedicated service to anyone who needs answers to crucial concerns about care for our loved ones. Her grandmother is already unable to cope alone and in need of assistance. She was very happy with the information she got from the website cause it provides daily care news and views. She was also able to connect to a community forum that allows her to learn from other users their experiences within the care system. She was able to find the right home for her grandmother cause the website have a database of more than 20,000 care homes in all regions in UK. She was able to find a care home close to their place and affordable according to her budget. I guess this is one headache off her head.

The Show 'Moments'...
Thanks to all those who catched the episode. Likely, mataas ang rating nun! I have texted all my friends and family to watch it, lol!
Anyway, a lot of my friends say, that I was super "daldal." I can even replace the host, Gladys Reyes. Hehehe. But I have no plans at all...lol!
It was exciting to see yourself in TV. It wasn't actually my first time, cause was featured na rin before about wedding planning on Net25 also and an interview about wedding coordinators by Cheska Garcia on Us Girls Show. Well, limelight is not new to me! hahaha, kapal!
They took videos of Margaux and Bianca also. Margaux was ultimate pasaway! Ayaw magpahiram ng toys! Yikes, challenged ako sa portion na yun!
I'm asking for a copy of the episode so I can try to upload it...hopefully, kayanin ng powers ko to convert it to YouTube.
Thanks to all my supporters!

People, please watch Moments by Gladys Reyes at Channel Net 25 on Saturday, November 17 at 6pm to 7pm. This is the episode where I would be featured. There's a replay on Sunday, November 18 at 11am to 12nn.
Net 25 is the name of the channel. I'm not sure what channel number it is in different cable companies. But it's channel 18 on SkyCable subscribers.
Hay, I have a wedding on that day...I will just watch the rerun.
Don't forget to catch it ok?

Anyone from UK?
Anyone who is based in UK and might need to have Payday Loans should consider the Roberts Bridge Financial. It is a payday loan matching service for UK residents. The company offers a Cash Advance for anyone who will be in need of emergency cash in between pay days. The Salary Advance that can be made is from £80 up to £750. The money can be electronically deposited and repaid from your bank account on mutually agreed upon dates. In the website, one just need to fill out the application form online. It requires the basic personal information. Employment information should also be filled out as well as banking information. After submitting the form, Roberts Bridge Financial then matches the prospective borrower to a prospective lender. The information submitted will be forwarded to one or two of several independent loan companies. The independent loan company will determine your loanable amount and will also be the one to approve your application. Qualifications for the approval vary on different factors like income and state where one is residing. In most cases, approval comes within the day. The independent loan company will contact the borrower within seconds and will approve the loan in minutes. What's good about such kind of loan is that it doesn't require any collateral. It is a good help for any UK residents who might be of need.

Field Trip...
Margaux will have a scheduled field trip this friday. This is in line with their current theme of "Transportation. "
The field trip will be taking a trip to the LRT Station 2 to ride the train and to Tiendesitas to ride the kalesa. I got excited about it cause it would first for Margaux, the train ride and the kalesa ride. Well, their taking the LRT Santolan Station up to LRT Cubao Station only. One companion is required for every kid. I'm sure she would love both rides!
Sorry, kababawan, but I would really love her to experience both! I'll be with her. I also haven't tried a kalesa ride! So it would also be my first.

Payday Loans
Anyone who is in need of Payday Loans? It is a cash advance that is easy to apply to bridge your emergency cash needs in between paydays without a need for a credit check. Usually, you can loan from $100 up to a maximim of $1500. There's a number of companies offering this kind of loan. It is sometimes hard to choose which one offers the best deal. I would suggest getting Faxless Payday Loans, meaning there is no need for you to send any documents already. Everything is being applied online. I found the site, PaydayLoanQuotes.com that is a loan matching site. It helps consumer compare prices on short-term loan options. With the No Fax Payday Loans that they offer, everything is completely confidential and secure. Application only takes seconds. The site even has a loan calculator where you can compute your capacity to pay such loan. So the next time you are in need of emergency cash, check out the site, paydayloanquotes.com

I got upset...
I got upset yesterday when I saw a classmate of Margaux hitted her twice. One on the face and another one on the hands. Both were hard hits. Margaux just cried after the hard hit. I really got upset that I wanted to scold the kid but I just let their teacher handle it.
I actually wrote already the teacher in the parent's corner about what I felt about it. I told her that she should let the parents of that kid know his actions in school. I'm pretty confident naman that she will, as we receive weekly updates about our kids. Anyway, that classmate actually came in recently lang so he might be adjusting. But I also remember how Margaux was acting during her first few weeks in school. Iba-iba lang siguro talaga ang bata.
Hay, this is just one of the things to deal with about schooling-->peer interaction.

Talk of the town...
It is the talk of the town. Someone is coming to Manila!
All the mommies head out to SM Ticketnet to purchase their tickets. And we are one of those. We are watching the Let's Imagine Tour of Barney in Manila. We are taking the December 19, wednesday. Yes, it's the first showing date. We chose the date cause first, I have events on December 22 and 23 (both weekends) and we want to do away with the christmas rush traffic on those dates. Well, I guess even on 19th it would be traffic as well.
We will be at PT 103, Row L Seat Numbers 19-21. We got the center aisle. It would just be me, Dicky and Margaux. We decided not to bring yet Bianca as I'm sure she won't much understand or enjoy it yet. Well, the truth is "ang mahal ng tickets!" If we bring her, we definitely have to bring the two yayas already....yay! We will just show to her the pictures...Poor Bianca!

Buying a new car?
My car is a black chevrolet optra and since black is beautiful, I call my car "Beauty." It's been with us for almost 4 years already. Dicky and I share the car before but since I use it most of the time, because my work requires me to be mobile, he decided to get his own already. He got himself a Honda CRV last year. Apparently, "beauty" is not being herself recently. I frequently bring her to chevrolet service for maintenance. I'm getting frustrated as it has been giving me headaches for the past 2 months already. Not to mention the soaring car maintenance expense that has not been budgeted. So I was telling Dicky that I wanted to get a new car already next year. I'm thinking to choose among Honda Cars. I really like the new CIVIC. The interior is very stylish. But I also like the new CRV. Now, I have to compare Honda Car Prices. I have learned about the site CarsBvd.com that is a car comparison site that helps buyer like me to compare prices of vehicles. They'll get you about 2 quotes from two different dealers. Their process is very fast and it's for free. You just have to indicate what make, model, year and transmission you prefer. You can also indicate if you are purchasing the vehicle outright or if you will finance it so they can give you the appropriate quote based on your payment option. It's that easy. I am now checking the site to get Honda Car Quotes. As for me, one of my requirements as well is that it has to be automatic as I don't know how to drive a manual transmission. And if ever, I'll get another black "beauty."

Flawless...
What's my secret for a flawless make-up?
It is Bare Escentuals and nothing else. It's the only brand that I use now from foundation, to eye make-up, blush, eyeliner and lipstick. I'm just glad I have the full set already, even for the brushes, I only use bare escentuals. I'm so addicted to all of its products. I'm using a combination of medium and medium light foundation, warmth combined with rose radiance for all over-face color. For the eyes, I use bare skin color and vanilla as base. For the blush, I use the laughter color and gingersnaps color for the lipstick. So for those who are asking what's the brand and color I am using during the mommy bloggers christmas party. It was all of the above.

DrugRehab.Net
Drug Addiction is actually a global issue. It is a global struggle. In the United States alone, drug addiction even on teenage years is most prevalent. That's why the country has been encouraging the emergence of Drug Addiction Treatment Center. One of which is DrugRehab.net. The center is one of the oldest and most established rehab companies in the United States. They offer the most effective rehabilitation program. They offer a Drug Free Rehab by conducting a Sauna Program that uses a a medically supervised exercise, dry sauna and nutritional supplements to get rid of body's fatty tissues that contain residues of all street drugs, prescription drugs, alcohol and other drugs that can remain in one's body for years. This ensures to eliminate drug cravings and depressions. They call their clients "students" and not "patients." Because they do not only teach their students how to stay away from drugs but also how to live happily and successful without the need of any drugs. They are teaching their students how to start a new life. The campus is actually sitting in a 30 acre lot offering comfortable and casual retreat aimed to heal and appropriate for all ages. DrugRehab.Net offers a very competitive rate as well. They have all-inclusive experience for one flat rate, which is actually low based on their success rate, facilities and duration of stay of a student. They offer financing options also to those who cannot afford one time payment. They are also accredited by most of the insurance companies. I guess this is the best drug rehab program currently available in the United States.

Momma Stuff Tag...
Got this tag from Nice of Momma Stuff
1. What food did you crave when you were pregnant?
It always chocolates for both pregnancy. And I remember I super like nilagang baka when I was carrying Bianca.
2. Did you gain a lot of weight when you were pregnant?
No, I only gained a maximum of 23 pounds. I don't look pregnant pag nakatalikod.
3. Did you drink milk when you were pregnant?
No also. I was taking a calcium vitamins instead. I'm really not fond of milk. Coffee pa ang ininom ko nun! Bad! Decaf naman eh.
4. How long did you stay in the labor room before your delivery?
12 hours for both, but it wasn't painful. Thanks to epidural! We were just waiting for me to fully dilate and effaced.
5. Did you have epidural during labor?
Yes for both deliveries.
6. How did you give birth?
Spontaneous Normal Delivery! Yahoo, I'm so proud of myself. Hehehe. Super bilis lang, lalo na ng kay Bianca, parang nag-CR lang ako! Mahirap pa nga pag constipated ako eh! Yuck sa comparison ano?
7. What was your first reaction when you heard your baby’s cry and saw him/her for the first time? Hay, Johnson and Johnson moment ito! Hahaha, pang commercial!
8. Prior to that moment when you first held your baby, did you know how to carry a newborn?
Well, it's like an instict, it was a mother's instinct so kahit di pa ako marunong masyado, it seems very natural.
9. Did you take a bath after your delivery?
After a week, I followed the instruction of my mom. Umuupo ako sa arenola with bayabas, pampatuyo ng sugat! It was effective ha!
10. How was your first night with your baby like?Ok naman, pero after few days, medyo namuyat na, both of them, Margaux and Bianca! Gusto mo nang itapon sa bintana cause ayaw tumigil ng iyak! Hahaha, joke lang! Bianca was colicky so it was a challenge.
11. Did you breastfeed your baby?
Yes, I did.
12. If you were to pick just one moment from the time you gave birth until the moment you were discharged from the hospital, which do you think is the most special moment for you?
It was the exact time when I was delivering to both of them. That special moment when you feel that they are going out from me! Gross ba? Pero yun eh, ibang klaseng feeling. Ramdam na ramdam ko sila pareho...Literally, they were pulled from me! Everything is still very clear and vivid to me. I was wide awake all throughout!
I enjoyed answering this tag...thanks Nice!

Good morning to all. I have been wanting to sit down and write and blog about a lot of things but I just can't at this time. I have a "big" event tomorrow which I would need to finalize documents. I also need to finish a lot of assignments. Hopefully, I can finish early so I can have time to blog in the afternoon.
Still wasn't able to buy gifts for our "babies" for the christmas party this sunday. What about you? Have purchased na? I'm scheduled to do it today cause wasn't able to squeeze that yesterday.
Hope everyone will have a good friday...To those attending the christmas party, see you all on sunday! I'm excited to see the faces behind the names...I'm sure it's going to be fun.
Have a good friday to all!

Car Insurance...
Car Insurance would always be a concern for any car owner. We are one of them. In choosing the best deal, one should really look into available car insurance quotes in the market today. Dicky is the one assigned in researching the best possible cash insurance rate that we would get for both our cars. He normally gets a number of proposal from different insurance companies. Sometimes, it would take him days before deciding which one to get. He spends a number of calls talking to the agent, haggling prices and getting the best deal. Apparently, I learned about CarInsuranceRates.com, which provides free quotations from several insurance companies. The site offers insurance from liability only to full coverage. This is a helpful site for him to check out in time for our car insurance renewal. With CarInsuranceRates.com, he can get the lowest possible quote within 5 minutes. It also provides a large archive of car insurance articles, tips and expert advice. With such service, Dicky would definitely save time in choosing the right policy for our cars. He can also for sure get the best deal suited for our requirement. Well, the best deal would always be money's worth.

Pictures from Fotoloco...
Guests during Bianca's birthday party also had a blast at Fotoloco booth provided by Konsepto. The output was a photo magnet that guests were able to bring home as souvenirs. They provided a nice backdrop that has a disneyland icon spread out (parang sa Oscars!). It was done very nicely. My friend, Mimi of Bumblebee and Company provided cute props and hats that guests can wear.

Meeting Both Ends...
It is really sometimes inevitable to borrow or lend money. In fact, I have heard about a number of payday loans in the market today. You use this kind of loan to bridge your cash flow gap between pay days. This short term loan is supposed to sustain a need for cash in the event of an emergency like immediate car repairs, hospital bills due to sickness, or unforeseen expense for children's schooling or household requirement. Personal Cash Advance site offers a fast and secure way to obtain payday loans. Application is very easy to do. One just need to apply online with no documents to fax. Once approved, the money is deposited directly to the borrower's checking or savings bank account. One can get as much as $1500 loan provided the minimum requirements are met like earning atleast $1000 a month, receiving a regular income from a current job, and atleast 18 years old and above. Other requirements vary depending on what should apply. Different payment structure is available depending on one's capacity. Option to pay in full upon maturity of the loan is allowed. Paying only the finance fee and a minimum of the principal is also possible provided it is paid before maturity date. Or it can be rolled over and just pay the finance fee on the maturity date. But availing of such cash advance should be done responsibly. I really don't suggest availing of it for purpose of luxury. This facility is made possible for people who are really in need to make both ends meet because of emergecy cash entrapment.

Pictures from Clique Booth...
I know. I know. Super bitin the synopsis I did regarding Bianca's party. But I wanted to make the birthday kwento when the official pictures are already in. I'm still waiting for it.
For the meantime, you make check first how the guests had fun in posing at the Clique Booth. Two copies of 4 poses were produced from the booth. Half was given to the guest and the other one was slipped in a coffee table guestbook where family and friends wrote their wishes and messages for Bianca. I love the idea very much.
Check out the pictures here.
All had fun.

New Business...
My friend and I are looking to venture into a new business. We are studying the option to make laptop bags to sell and distribute to computer shops or even boutique shops. These laptop bags will cater to trendy women who doesn't want to trade fashion out in carrying a laptop. I get frustrated in looking for a nice bag that can house my laptop. I have searched anywhere and all I can find are those bulky bags that doesn't really look nice. We are on the process of studying the market and reviewing our options on how to sell our product. One of our options is to sell it online. With it, we need to develop and create our own website to feature the available bags we would be carrying. Within the site, we are looking to have a shopping cart software that would help us sell our merchandise online. Ashop Commerce is the leading provider of hosted ecommerce software. When we decide to get Ashop, it would definitely be a good help for our new business cause we would be able to customize the design and features of the shopping cart for our online store. We can also accept credit card payments which would be very convenient to our prospective clients. I really hope this business could push through. We are making our business plan now. Wish us luck!

Poker Night...
My friend usually reserves his Tuesday night as poker night with friends. He's very good in playing poker that he really wins big bucks out of it. He has learned the tricks of the game that made him a big winner for a couple of weeks already. I told him I also learned about online casino and that he could also have his luck with it. Bet365 is a site that provides a wide range of online betting facilities. They have sportsbook facility, interactive game section and online poker playing area. I told my friend that he should try it cause he might have the luck with it as well. Bet365 is part of the UK's leading betting and gaming group. It operates a one-wallet system meaning only one username, password and payment method will be used when you play all online games. What's good about them also is that they provide a facility to enable customers to limit the amount of money they are able to deposit online. This is to ensure gambling responsibly. The site is also regulated and licensed by the Gambling Commision. My friend said he will try it sometime. He really might have a knack for poker so might as well try to play it online.

The party was a success!
It's finally done...
The party was a success! When everyone went home na, parang I want some more! hehehe, the preparation that took for almost 6 months were executed superbly yesterday. Thanks to all the suppliers who made it possible. We still have a hang-over from it.
Valle Verde 6 Clubhouse were filled with almost 200 guests and around 75 kids. Everyone enjoyed the party. Most of the guests were raving about our party theme. Disney map was distributed upon entrance.
Our family was in color coordinated clothes of brown and pink done by Mimi Ferrera of Bumblebee and Company. Everyone commented on how "pretty" we were. We were able to get an exact color of polo for Dicky, which we even got from Springfield ATC. Imagine us, from Pasig going all the way to Alabang the afternoon before the party cause that's the store where a size for him was available.
The kids were treated beautifully from the kid's salon provided by Kids Haus. Some had their glitter tattoo. Most of the kids got a balloon creation from the balloon twister. They had so much fun with the game booths with matching stamps to claim goodies in the redemption booth. The kids enjoyed the idea also of using play money to purchase mini burger, hotdog, popcorn and ice cream from the food carts. These were all provided by Yan-Ple. The families enjoyed their photo magnet souvenirs from Konsepto and all had a funny pose from Clique booth.
The food was super yummy. Everyone was asking who was our caterer. Of course, it's always Josiah's Catering for our family celebrations. The cake, that was made by Quintbelles was a highlight as it was a replica of the disney float from a parade in Disneyland. The dessert buffet was also a hit to the guests. The guests watched also a beautiful audio-visual presentation made by Threelogy while eating.
Definitely, the decors made it all look like a disneyland, actually Biancaland. The entrance decors was a great welcome treat to the guests. And of course, Balay Kandila made such a beautiful castle right at the middle of the stage, with matching lights. It was also a replica of the castle from Anaheim, California. Gave the picture to them and they were able to copy it.
Games and magic show by Wizzo made all guests in awe. Even adults enjoyed it a lot. No single kid went home without a BAG of prizes aside from the pail loot bag they got. It was all meant for the kids. We prepared around 256 individual prizes from the redemption booth, aside from the 100 pcs of major and minor prizes for the games.
The party was capped with a grand fireworks display from Dragon Fireworks. I'm excited to see the pictures from Ging Lorenzo and the video from John Aguas.
Bianca was very happy with her party. We can see it in her eyes. Ate Margaux also had a blast. Bianca received a total of 65 gifts plus some cash gifts! Yahoo, kay mommy na yun, hehehe, lol!
The whole family was dead tired after the party, but we were very happy for the success. Dicky congratulated me for a job well done.
This is just a synopsis...hehehe. Will post again a more detailed birthday story and suppliers rating, and of course, the pictures...can't wait to see them!
